Whether it's an official video or a live version. Don't be confused though with favorite song. I mean it has some part in it but this is about the visual aspect of it. If you can, explain why it is your favorite. I'll have to come back for mine.

Hmm, adding in the possibility of choosing a live version makes it tough... but when it comes to music videos specifically, Week End for me.

The song's about death, and I think it's brilliant how they each (well, other than Toshi) "die the way they lived" in the theme of their stage persona.  Reminds me of LA Guns' One More Reason video and I suspect may have been inspired by it.  Anyway, it's very X, ultra high drama and way over the top, as it should be.

I'm not crazy about the woman watching the film, I think it's pretty distracting whenever they show her, but I love the rest of the video enough that I really don't care.

Sirimono also pointed out the likeness between Week End and Skid Row's 18 and Life video. Check it out, it was really obvious after she told me XD

My favourite video... hmm.. Actually I'm not so fond of their promotional video's except Week End, Celebration and XClamation, and XClamation is my favourite of the lot even if Week End is bloody awesome too.
But if live video's are also included, well.. I haven't seen 'em all.

lulz right

Week end is my favourite too, so of course I noticed the similarities :D

The interesting thing about the similarities is that they are not exactly in the pictures, but the structures of the videos are very alike.
The singer guy is shown the same way as Toshi is in Week end. The video shows different stories of the other band members doing bad things, kinda wasting their lives.
Then there's the graffiti on the wall / X's throwing paint at the wall
and the shot close to the end is almost exactly alike the scene of Taiji getting shot.
And then of course the musicians playing in front of black background.

Forgive me I am still learning about X so I have no idea when this video was but this has got to be my favorite live. I just love how it shows their energy and shows everyones personalities. It shows the craziness of the fans. It's not really the greatest of quality but that's what I like about this video. It kinda gives this mysterious effect. And actually there was another video I was looking for but I couldn't find it.

As for a PV,  it would have to be Endless Rain. When they're showing the live clips, it feels like a journey in time with them. Oh and while looking for that Kurenai video, I watched this one where it looked like Taiji was wearing ass-less chaps..Did he wear those? lol..I mean you can see his jeans in some parts but it really looks like he's wearing ass-less chaps.

@Millie/Siri, I've seen 18 and Life hundreds of times but never really thought of Week End specifically... huh, next time I see it (no time to download the youtube video but they always show it on TV here), I'll take a closer look.

If you're interested by the way, here's One More Reason:

No need to apologize. ;)  By the way, that video is on the X Clips VHS/DVD... the footage used is early Blue Blood era, right around the time of their major debut, I think it's from Bakuhatsu Sunzen Gig but I sort of forget.  (If not that specific concert then some other concert(s) from that time.)

As far as I know he always had jeans under his chaps, but if you manage to find a link to that video again, I'm sure you'll find no shortage of volunteers willing to assist you in researching and analyzing the degree of potential asslessness.

Okay so I found that video again. Sadly, they are not assless. It's the lighting. Oh it's around 2:44. Ah well. Although I think from now on, I am going to believe that's what it was  . Makes it more interesting.
