Yeah as for the old songs/acoustics they're playing again, hopefully Yoshiki and the others will actually take into consideration and think "hey these are good songs, we like playing them, and our fans like us playing them, lets play them at future lives". Don't just play them at these two lives only just because Taiji's here and its like the old days.

For people trying to register to nicovideo, I'm not really sure, it might be one of the options along the top of the site, I think there's one at the top that has the word "premium" in the link, that's the only possible thing I can see.
From the sounds of it there's Mexican waves going on.
If they don't bring Taiji on this live that's seriously unfair to the fansd who only had tickets for the first day who expected to see Taiji.

I was hoping for some Desperate Angel! Damn! I really hoped they would perform it with Taiji!
Aside from that it sounds like it was a great show. Crazy to see Taiji back on stage! I hope clips will appear on YouTube soon and I would quite like an official DVD release - its not every day Taiji is on stage with X Japan, lol!

I really wasn't aware of all that, I'm glad he's been able to recover so much.
After his exit from Loudness he had a severe cocaine addiction and basically ran himself into financial destitution and became homeless. Whilst he was homeless he got into a fight and had his jaw broken, but because he had no money he couldn't afford medical care - and as such it healed badly (which is why his face is such a weird shape).
In more recent years he has had a series of motorbike accidents which have caused him broken legs and other injuries, and most recently he suffered a fall at home which caused him a fractured skull and mild brain damage. Whilst in hospital he was also diagnosed with a brain tumor, which was successfully removed.
As a result, he currently has mobility issues, speech issues, epilepsy and a fairly large medicine cupboard.

And yet he plays and plays with all of his heart.
He's an inspiration for people, you know. I don't think some people would get out of those situations alive, let alone mentally-well enough to keep trying to live.

Not to be harsh but if it's not allowed to take pictures then they should be allowed to force you to delete the pictures you have taken. At least it's a better option than suing you (sounds stupid but they could want to make an example of you so others wouldn't do it).

I have had ?great time till Taiji pop up.
I was in front of Heath but the security was mean and unprofesional. ?
There was funny moment with fangirl ?she was trying to get Heath attention and ?the same time my brother turn around and she scare him security who was in front of us laughed and said "are you okay kid? you look like you see ?fangirl" he sound so funny.
after he left very mean man walk toward us and crab the phone out my hands "are they your children? next time they leave" is what he said to my mother.
It ruin ?rest of the show. he removed the pictures in front of us and smaled after he was done. ?
But to be honest i would not have want to miss it. I was upset when Taiji was announced but he did not appear ?often as i thought he would.
The light where very bright and my eyes actually hurt. Some people say their will be dvd of this. I'm not sure.

Well looking at the video, I can say that there is no sign of Pata's nap there... They did play the solo from Love Replica though.

The setlist could've been written in the wrong order, possibly, we'll see.
I just watched the clip.
Jade was great, Toshi sang it really well, and Toshi looked really cool on the Jade video. With Rusty Nail, Toshi accidently repeated the first verse but eh oh well, and you can tell he was struggling singing it, but his voice didn't crack up at all, and for the parts he did sing he didn't have to use his raspy voice in order to get through it.
The solo+Love Replica was the best guitar solo segment I've seen since hide's last proper one in 1992 I think.

He cracked up at the end of Say Anything, when he has to sing solo near the end of Kurenai, and when I was listening to the stream he cracked on "without yoouu" on endless rain, but for a whole concert that's barely anything, infact that's almost standard Toshi from late 80's early 90's.

Now that I'm downloading it, (part 15, hoping that's where I.V is, and that i can watch parts seperatly) I can really see how tiny the setlist is, despite how good the concerts were there's a huge gaping problem. Only five songs from the first day have been posted on youtube, but looking at the setlist, that's all I feel like watching from the concert apart from I.V.

the setlist being tiny is the only downside of the shows. the performances itself are great, especially Toshis voice. IT's been ages since he sang almost flawless.
If they had done 2 or 3 songs more and less gapping, this could have been the best shows so far.

Just watched the DVD last night and the concert fucking sucks donkey fuck.
It's sad to see how a great band has been reduced to this.
Long breaks, running around the stage, talking to the audience but what about the music?
It's a fucking rock concert, only the songs are missing.
I was counting that within the 1st hour they had played 3 real songs which were Jade, Rusty Nail and Kurenai. Yeah, they played the acoustic Say Anything but I don't count it.
If Yoshiki really has such a hard time playing drums that he needs to have a long break after every 2 songs, maybe he should just quit. Get a real drummer, or even better, use old Yoshiki playbacks. He should just play the piano and write the songs.

Also I'm getting annoyed with Yoshiki's persistance to ignore/forget basically every song before Dahlia except for the top three popular rock songs, Oh wait, they didn't even play Week End this time. Its rediculous to constantly ignore 3/4 of your song library.
Imagine if Iron Maiden from now on only ever played songs from 'A matter of life and death' and the new album 'final frontier', and the only songs they ever played from their previous 100/1000/whatever albums before that were 'Run to the Hills' 'Number of the Beast' and 'Iron Maiden'. Its really sad and pathetic.

This is getting off topic but didn't they do something like that on the previous US tour?
Mostly songs from Brave New World, Dance of Death and A Matter of Life And Death, one new song (El Dorado) and a couple of old classics. But on the other hand I guess that makes sense 'cos the last tour was the Somewhere Back in Time Tour and they played only old songs. Also all those 3 new albums are pretty damn good so I don't complain about hearing those. I dunno what they played for example in Finland a while ago 'cos I couldn't go see them.
But at least Maiden can still do real concerts even though the drummer is 56 years old and the rest of them couple of year younger. In their 50s anyway.

Well, they will have to do something o stage for about 2-3 hrs. I don't think that they would play Art of life (like ever again) so eventually they will have to play some of their older songs or Yoshiki will actually has to come up with enough new material to fill the time. ;D
And don't forget that the members of Iron Maiden are sturdy English boys. Sturdy is not how I would describe the average Japanese male.

I just finished watching the 14/08 show (DVD jpopsuki download), and I have to say in my humble opinion it's the best show they've done since the reunion. I understand what alot of people are saying about the setlist and the huge gaps but I personally loved it. Here's a couple of observations I'd like to share...
- Toshi's vocals were absolutely awesome. The best post reunion and IMO the best since the Violence In Jealousy lives. He completely stole the show.
- Sugizo has finally learnt how to play solos with Pata. Previously, when the 2 played dual solos (ie in X and Endless Rain), Sugizo used too much vibrato which didn't sound too good when Pata doesn't use alot of vibrato.
- The I.V. intro sounded ridiculously long but watching the live I loved it and enjoyed Toshi and Yoshiki's interaction with the crowd.
- If Endless Rain is on the new album, well, they still used Yoshiki's old drum track from Blue Blood, the same one they've always used.

I agree with you. Toshis voice was incredible and seeing what was going on onstage make such things like the veeerrry long I.V. intro understandable. I really liked it to watch Toshi and Yoshiki having fun running around in the middle of the audiance. And it was also great for the people in the audiance.

For sure. A lot of care has to be taken into account about hide for this tour. But fans are so diversified, so X will never be able to get it right. Too much hide, not enough hide... It will be interesting to see the balance of references. ( for you lucky SOBs in the US!)

So how many different version there are of 14th show?
I know 3 so far. I have 4gb version and 7gb version.
Jpopsuki has the 7gb version and also 6gb version

But the question is, WHERE can those of us who haven't been able to obtain copies of the 2 shows yet able to do so? JPop Suki requires some difficult registration process as I'm sure most of us know so that precludes us from downloading it from there.

I just finished watching the full 14th show, i thought it was awesome!!!!!!!
Had probz with the HD version, but i guess my pc just sux! Anyways there is a DVD/vob version there too!

Torent update. Sorry i was away i was sick all weekend my stomach pain got worse and had to visit the hospital earlier today.
The torrent is Almost done yesterday we could not spend time on. We try to get better Quality this all should be done wednesday
We have give away the torrent to friend he works on better quality.

I have 7.6.GB version of 14.August show. I watched it on 37" flatscreen tv and it was a really good quality there.

I found a torrent of what I believe is the same file. I haven't tested it but I looked at it and it has the same number of RAR files and is also 7.6GB.

Here's the entire concert for the 14th, no region blocking, sometimes it doesn't load and small ads pop up on the orange player background, just keep reloading the page until that stuff stops and the video just plays. There might be an actual video ad, but like on youtube just wait for that to end and the video should load.

In Japan people know how to wait patiently and how to act accordingly while doing so. Even at a big rock concert you would never have to worry about being trampled on, or having some argument over the seat allocation.
At both Yokohama concerts, and last year at Tokyo Dome, I noticed how appropriately people acted. It's much appreciated.
