Issues w/ profile info

Hi, since I registered I've having trouble entering my date of birth - whenever i fill in the boxes that ask for birthdate and click the "change profile" button it just reverts back to 001/01/01 and doesn't display age when i view the profile summary? Is anyone else having trouble with this? The personal text and other bits work fine i think. Thanks
