So, after listening to music, it often happens to me that I hear a resemblance between songs. Sometimes it's easy to hear what an artist stole or borrowed from another, but sometimes you can't really tell.

Here we go

This one is really random, but during spirit night at my high school one of the songs was the inspector gadget techno remix(not sure who it's by) but I noticed it doesn't use the inspector gadget song, but rather In the Hall of the Mountain King

: Would you jump off a bridge just because everyone else was doing it?
A: Yes, because the pile of bodies would break my fall.

Some bands don't even see the need to recycle songs from other bands, recycling your own stuff is a lot easier.

LOL Nickelback

I love Muse's Knights of Cydonia. Pretty cool song.

By the way, good idea for a thread!

EDIT: When I first heard Nickelback, I liked them. But they're so boring... Really, it's true. They're songs are almost all the same... -_-; haha, that link is AWESOME, ahahaahahaa... XDDDD

EDIT 2: Aahahahaa, fuck this, I tried it with headphones... XDDD I can't stop laughing. XD

May X be with you!

And out of the chaos I heard a voice telling me:
"Smile and be happy - it could have become worse!"
So I smiled and was happy... and it became worse

Bon Jovi's Without Love and King's Not Throwing The Keys' intro have some kind of resemblance, but just the intro XD I love them both.

Also, I'm not a fan of that band, but a friend that is told me Yoshiki took some stuff from Rosenfeld and Loudness and added it to songs like Blue Blood and Rose of Pain.

I forget, which album is Without Love on?  Now I'm curious to check that similarity...

Loudness and Blue Blood/Rose of Pain?  That's really interesting, do you happen to know which Loudness songs your friend was thinking of?

Some other resemblances:

Aerosmith - Cryin' ... B'z - Don't Leave Me
Motley Crue - Live Wire ... B'z - Gimme Your Love (only at one point in the song-- but man, that one point is almost exactly the same)
Poison - Talk Dirty to Me ... Glay - Shutter Speeds no Teema

And apparently B'z are rather famous in Japan for having a lot of, uh, "similarities" with other songs. :P  I don't care though, they rock anyway.

It's in Slippery When Wet :)

I don't really know but I will ask him as soon as I see him online ^^;

Btw, you're right about B'z, I haven't thought of that one, lol.

------
I asked him, he only remember specifically of the Rosenfeld one, it's Crows in Black, compare it to Blue Blood.
