Hello everyone!
I am wondering how many of you are going to the London Concert in March 2017.

I am still fighting with myself if I will take the risk again and again. (suffered 2 cancelled concerts till now  :'( )
But after reading what happened with Yoshiki's show in Hong Kong yesterday... the decision is even more difficult to make.

Hi,
Kasumi and myself also are not totally sure and more then a bit sceptical, but also want to go....

when we finally decide to be there, maybe we can meet on half way and if x will not play we can have a nice little rl forum meeting and maybe a beer or two? ;)

Well Hong Hong wasn't Yoshiki's fault - for once. LOL
So at least that doesn't make a difference for me when it comes to London. But I'm already super-sceptical anyway - we didn't book anything yet and will wait as long as possible with the not-refundable flights -_-

...and it's okay not to trust them anymore, they cancelled on Europe 4 times already LOL (Thinking back, it's amazing how we trust them back then with hardly any information... But come on, if someone says 'I'll play on that date!' it would usually be trustworthy...)

...When the morning begins
I'll be in the next chapter...

Yes, I know the HK incident was not Yoshiki's fault this time.
For me, the chance that the London concert will be cancelled is about 50%
(Considering I planned to go to 5 concerts but 2 were cancelled, so it's about 50/50  ::) )

London is just too expensive,  with the flight and hotel and meals.

I'm gonna go. Me and my dad aren't booking a hotel room because we only live a few hours away from London so we don't have anything to lose if it gets cancelled. However, it's already been delayed once so I think it will be a high priority for Yoshiki and the rest of X Japan so it (most likely) won't be cancelled.

I really want to go (like nb already said), but... London is really expensive. I don't want to waste so much money on something that might get cancelled. On the other hand... I want to see X before another band member dies or something. ^^° I mean Pata was close to death last year. Thankfully he is in a better condition now. So fingers crossed.

Yeah one would think like that... however, in 2015 there was a LOOOOT of promotion for Xday! Yoshiki did a press tour through all of Europe for that! For 2017, however, the only 'promotion' is a Facebook banner... I understand that he was kinda busy doing promotion for 'We are X' but pretty much ignoring Wembley coming up will certainly not help selling tickets. And it also won't convince fans to trust them enough to actually plan any trips there for the concert...

Well as for the tickets... they are almost sold out. We were searching for tickets yesterday and there were only 41 left.

ô_O Where did you see that about 41 tickets? I just looked up on AXS and I can choose 6 seats next to each other in 10 blocks, which is already more than 41, and I'm pretty sure there are even more single seats...

If it was really sold that much, I'd wonder who's going there, since most x-freaks in Europe don't seem to have one...

(I'd be happy if it was almost-sold-out, I just don't think that's realistic)

That's intresting! I don't remeber the name of the site, but they had only a few (as I said 41) and all of them were pretty expensive. nb just said it was a site called ticketmaster.

Maybe that was a little missunderstanding. 41 was the amount of pre owned tickets on stubhub

Okay. I forgot. Sorry.

I looked on AXS. All free seats are pretty much in the back, but whatever. I still can't find a specific number on how much are still available.

Actually, has Yoshiki mentioned about/promoted  the London concert recently?

@Guruxo, you are lucky that you live only a couple of hours away from London. In the worse case, you can still drive to London in the morning on the concert day.

@for those German fans.... na, I hope they will have a show anywhere in Germany. Any news about the possibility of another world tour?

No mentions of anything related to X Japan playing anywhere aside of Wembley for months... And yeah he mentioned it somewhere a new weeks ago I believe. It's also still in recent press releases, which is good. LOL

Two months to go now and no promotion at all, at least compared to MSG

Same with the album

I ll be there too.  ;)

We have kept our Premium Tickets bought last year at Japan Expo in Paris.
From Paris, London is just 2h30 by Eurostar train, and a two way trip is around 100€ if you booked early.

It is right that so far there is really poor information, last year it was supposed to be X Day, maybe because in April 1986 Yoshiki founded Extasy Records, so it would have been like a 30th year celebration.
Will be my 5th X Japan concert, hope the show will be great, and better that previous one.

I still have my ticket, but I'm not booking anything in advance.
If all seems ok, I might consider making some last minute plans.

Anyone got an idea what the betting odds for a cancelation are? ;) Last year the official cancelation arrived at february 3rd, so I have to wait at least untill that day has passed, before I'm gonna book my hotel and flight.

LOL we are also still waiting... According to mentions by official accounts, it looks much better than last year. According to information about the concert (schedule, VIP ticket information, travel packages, whatever other stuff) it looks disastrous, though. No promotion or media coverage AT. ALL. -_-

That's not exactly great marketing lol ;) Postponed for 1 year, launched a documentary since and yet, no publicity whatsoever. Odd... really odd.

I'm not even sure if it's only the concert or if there's a showing of the movie, too. lol

By the way, has anyone of you received their e-tickets? I'm still waiting for an email from AXS.

I think it said that the etickets will be sent out only two weeks before the event takes place!

And yeah, posting some really boring banner doesn't really count a marketing. They can do better. But yeah, good to know that Yoshiki still remembers Xday I guess *headdesk*

At least he did mention it at all! Maybe the promotion starts now... very last minute, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Edit: like this News article at least mentions the concert: http://natalie.mu/music/news/218291 (but it's actually talking about the We are X movie and soundtrack)

I wonder why they are doing it that way? So if I won't have an email from them in mid-february I guess I should contact them.

If they concert takes place I'm curious what the setlist will be like. I expect it to be more of the same, but I'm really, really hoping for some variety and more songs (at least more as back in 2011 in europe).
