YOSHIKI's Golden Globes Theme to Be Released in 111 Countries

Multi-instrumentalist and X JAPAN leader YOSHIKI was chosen to compose the the opening theme for this year's Golden Globe Awards.

To honour the 70th anniversary of the awards, the theme will be available to download as a full-length digital single through iTunes in 111 countries from January 15th. All proceeds from the single will be donated to charities chosen by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. The theme will be used to open the ceremony and at other key moments during the broadcast, and features a full string orchestra, as well as many instruments played by YOSHIKI himself.

The Golden Globe Awards will be broadcast on January 13th and will be viewed in over 190 countries worldwide.

Yea, now I think about it, it has been five years since X Japan has reunited and the only new releases they have done are 3 singles...I have come to not really expecting anything from them anymore.

As for the Golden Globes piece, it's nice but I feel it was way longer and has been cut down. Anyone else agree?

I'm personally boycotting Yoshiki and any of his bullshit on social media (no likes, shares or comments) until something productive is done regarding X Japan. I could care less about golden globes, yoshikitty, or even Violet UK for that matter. He needs to get real and understand that 90% of his fans want X Japan, not fluff and stupid shit. Losing some serious respect for him lately. He's becoming a massive sell out
