Yoshiki talks about X Japan's beginnings, how they started when they were 14 and did covers of songs, including the next song he plays (song #3) Iron Maiden - Run to the Hills.

Yoshiki talks about the next song meaning apocalypse and how Japanese doesn't translate easily to English. Female co-anchor pronounces apocalypse in french. Tre bien.

Talking about how he took english lessons for awhile, including some just for the radio show. Saying he went to the Grammy awards, then after went to an after party...and then another party, and met several music artists. Playing another song, didn't catch what it is, and not sure I recognize it.

I'm finding Yoshiki very hard to understand.

Same here! Especially with ToshI's voice from when they first started! xD

Stop my tears. Stop my loving. Kill my memories.

Its been 30 minutes already, and Yoshiki has said maybe only 3 minutes worth of material, the rest is just music. The pattern seems to be Yoshiki, 2 songs, Yoshiki, 2 songs.

Brandon, to be fair, that's how most XM shows are.

Yoshiki talking about Jade.

Next song, Jade! Appears to be the same version we have already.

Yup! Although I thought they would have held it off until the end of the program.

Yoshiki talking about Roger Taylor, and how they made a song together. Yoshiki writing the music, and Roger writing the lyrics. I think Yoshiki mentioned this was the last song of the night.

Next song, Roger Taylor - Foreign Sand.

If this is the final song:

Setlist:

Kiss - Love Gun
Tool - The Pot
Iron Maiden - Run to the Hills
Marilyn Manson - Sweet Dreams
*not sure*
Dir En Grey - Zen
X Japan - Jade
Nirvana - Lithium
Roger Taylor - Foreign Sand

I LOVE this song btw. If you don't have it, it's classic Yoshiki.

They also played Metallica - One after that unknown song. Oh and the Dir en grey song was actually Zan, not Zen.

Pretty good setlist in my opinion.

Yea, the show just ended after the final song, no words from Yoshiki.

The show was okay. I would have liked to hear more Yoshiki though; and he needs to speak up. He's too quiet.

Overall, those who didn't catch the program, didn't miss much.

Thanks for the report, guys :) That´s always the problem for me when I am listening to him speaking in videos - he really needs to speak louder and more clear. I really have difficulties to understand him.
