Is there anybody going to the Zenith from central paris on the day of the concert? I've already reserved hostel @ Bastille so i'm not joining most of you at Etap Hotel . However, I'm a bit nervous going alone by metro to the 19th district as I saw some people in travel forum mention that there are many pickpocketerss in the metro and 19th district is not a particularly safe one. If anyone want to go together that would be awesome.

Pickpockets can't get anything from you if you are aware of them. Just don't bring any (or much) money, leave your documents (or at least passport) and credit cards at the hostel, also the phone (usually hostels have safes that you can rent for cheap) etc.

This is my administrator color.

@karryamani: Don´t know, where you´re from, but it´s not that bad in Paris, and it´s really not dangerous, when you go to the concert it will still be daylight and it is summertime and a lot of people will travel with you, so don´t be afrait and enjoy your stay :)

@ Hypno and elanor: Thanks for your assurance. I am a female from Hong Kong and traveling alone. I just heard that the pickpocketers target on tourist and it's quite likely that I would be easily recognized by them as a tourist as an Asian girl. I would take your advice to keep minimum amount of cash with myself and see if I could store the passports and cards safely in the hostel, probably wearing a moneybelt as well. So even if I become the target they wouldn't be able to steal much. Besides the safety issue I am really excited in visiting Europe and Paris, and I am sure I will enjoy the stay and the concert with all of you there:)

Hi!

Just to let you know that I will be present to this show!
I'm so happy to see them again!!

Also the X-Japan France show is in same time that Japan Expo, the greater Anime Convention outside of Japan.
So if you can stay longer I suggest you to go there too. http://www.japan-expo.com
Current list of musician (more to come) : http://www.japan-expo.com/en/menu_invite/musiciens_137.htm

And finally for the security issue. Pickpocketers will target "touristic place" as Eiffel tower or louvre museum who are far away from Zenith. But like all not-asian country you just have to keep a eye on your stuff. (bag close, not in your back if people are near, hand in your pocket if too crowd, ...) There don't take risk... If you can detect them there will not do it.

Good to know that, hopefully the Zenith will fill up!

Haha, I just noticed the X Japan world tour 'ad' in the background of the japan-expo website. Looks like the promotor bought some serious adspace :P
X is also attending the Japan Expo (http://www.xplosion-online.com/index.php/en/news/x-japan-news/311-x-japan-press-conference-at-japan-expo-on-june-30th)
Curious how that's gonna turn out...

And as for the other musicians at the Japan Expo, I hope that Akira Yamaoka is gonna be there at a date I can attend :)

Hi, i'm a member of the french x-japan forum, wanted to add some information about the fans' project for Paris' live.

Hi, found this on Facebook. Have you heard of it? The idea is that when Kurenai starts, the audience will put red t-shirts on and keep them on just for Kurenai. :)
Yes it's right, and in order for more people to take part at the event, the red clothe can be other than a t shirt. I translate the message from kederiku, from the french forum
Quote
After a talk with Xplosion, it was decided to change a little the event.

Now, you can take any red object for kurenai, a piece of material, a  handkerchief , a scarf, etc.

For those who want to keep t-shirt idea you can, we only increase possibilities in order to have as many people as possible with read things for kurenai.
from http://xjapan.frenchboard.com/t842p150-concert-paris-operation-t-shirt-rouge-pour-kurenai-a-partir-p5#89875
But i think t-shirts will be more visible bcz larger, so IMHO it's the best clothe.

A camping with members of the french forum will take place in front of the zenith, the topic is here : http://xjapan.frenchboard.com/t2571-orga-camping-x-japan-in-paris
the twitter is here https://twitter.com/#!/Xjapancamp

But as said by others in the topic concerning camping organisation, there is no place in the zenith to let bags during the live.

Information pages from the zenith website

http://www.zenith-paris.com/content/3/2/localisation2.jpg
http://www.zenith-paris.com/index3.php?s=3
→ audience stuff willbe checked
→ sometimes non professional cameras are allowed but pro material is prohibited
→ most of the times bottles/cans are prohibited bcz of producers, only plastic bottles without stopper are allowed

http://www.xplosion-online.com/index.php/en/news/x-japan-news/317-kurenai-project

Quote
Kurenai Project is a project for X JAPAN concert in Paris at Le Zenith. We're gonna turn Le Zenith even more red!

The idea of this project is very simple. We are asking everybody who come to Paris concert to take something red with them. (A t-shirt, a hankerchief, a scarf, anything easy to carry). Now we have to work together. You know Kurenai, right? Well, how couldn't you? First there's the intro. During the intro, just grab your red stuff and keep it ready. Then, when ToshI shouts "KURENAI DA", raise your red object in the air!
Imagine what the effect will be from the stage!! Let's make X JAPAN first European World Tour unforgottable!

Here's the Facebook Page about the project.

Maybe you're wondering why we chose red for Kurenai? For those who knows what Kurenai means, it's pretty obvious. Kurenai means deep red. :P

@cbetasitris: If you are interested we could share a room at Etap Hotel. I've booked a double room for the night after the concert, but I'm alone at this moment. The room rate is 59,00 € for one ore two persons.
hi maritamun, I am a female and this friday I will travel alone to Paris from Netherlands. If your room at Etap is still available, do you mind we could share a room?
