How the fuck are Beady Eye billed higher than X Japan? That's massively disrespectful - Beady Eye are a new band, and their debut album has hardly set the world alight. They play tiny shows in the UK - and more to the point, are shit.

Obviously Liam Gallagher's inflated ego needs the billing. *Facepalm*

Bands are usually asked what times they would prefer to play, and a lot of bigger bands play mid day or even night if they chose to close.

I wanted to go last year since so many bands I love were playing, but now this years lineup looks so much better an X Japan too huh.

sigh wish I could go to it but sadly wont be able to again

Forgive me if this has been mentioned in this thread but I'm trying to buy a ticket for Summer Sonic but you have to choose L block or R block (is this left and right???). I don't know if it matter which one I buy but if it does, and I don't buy the block where X Japan is well...you can imagine.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

doesn´t really matter, I was at the very lefthand side in Berlin, couldn´t see Pata that often, but sometimes they move around

I do wish you a wonderfull concert, I´m a bit jealous, ´couse - Currywurst or not - don´t think they´ll come to Europe that soon

Tomorrow is the day of Summer Sonic Osaka.

The day after is Summer Sonic Tokyo.

As X JAPAN the show in Osaka is since so while ago, as myself since 14 months ago.

Both Tokyo and Osaka are the show in big festival in Japan since so long ago.

I get excited〜!

Primal Scream, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Suede, BEADY EYE and P.i.L.

Though there are too many artists I want to see,

I guess it is difficult to watch their show…

5 months has passed after the earthquake.

Music has started to be important after all.

I would like to perform with all my strength,

praying for our revival in this summer show.

And I would like to do everything I can do.

明日はサマソニ大阪、明後日はサマソニ東京。

X JAPANとしては超久々の、俺としては14ヶ月ぶりの大阪、

そして東京、大阪両公演とも日本での超久々のフェス、

燃え上がるぜ〜！

プライマル、レッチリ、Suede、BEADY EYE、そしてPIL、

観たいアーティストが目白押しなんだけど、

状況を考えると難しいだろうなぁ。。。

震災から５ヶ月、音楽の力がやっと重要な意味を持つようになった。

再生への祈りを込めて全身全霊で真夏のステージに臨みたい。

そして自分にできうる限りのことを全うしたい。

wth...where is X Japan in that line up listing for today? Its always been official that X Japan are playing both days, why is X not on the list for the 13th? Guess they just screwed up.

Also, from the article

They should be playing more than six songs, I know its not meant to be a full set, but other bands play more than six songs in their slots, X need to hurry up with starting songs, I bet the Kurenai intro(s) took half the set.
