January!!!!
I am already saving money for that every month, because I have to pay 3 tickets and mayby hotel and so further.
No news from lining ups or are they already in the venue? Are there many people?
I see nothing written!

There are people in line already, but not many because the seats are pre-assigned. http://twitter.com/volucre is posting that they're rehearsing various songs, like Jade and Born to be Free. It'll be a while before it starts...

Its three in the morning here and noone's even been allowed into the theatre yet, so this is before Autotune Everywhere's (not my joke) set has even started, so I think I'm gonna sit this one out and go get some sleep XD.

Hi everyone ^^ Been reading these forums for a while. And I guess I'll be following the show on here and Twitter. Can't wait for Oct 7 and Oct 10 when I finally get to see them :D

Is anyone from Montreal btw? I couldn't decide between Toronto and NYC so I thought... "screw it I'll go to both" :P

ANOTHER N00B! I've been lurking for a while now as I'm trying to get myself psyched for the 10/10 show, but I figured I might as well join since there doesn't seem to many of us following the concert tonight x) .

I just got back from the show.  The short of it - the set list was the same for those that are following every detail of the US tour.  The band hit the stage around 9:15pm and finished before 11pm (or so).

I was upstairs so I can't comment on the crowd on the Main Floor but the upstairs was barren.  The Paramount has a 3 tier balcony.  Each tier is split into 5 sections across.  The first tier/mezzanine was maybe half to 2/3rds full.  The first row of the second mezzanine only had a sprinkling of fans, with the rest of the section empty.  The third mezzanine was blocked off entirely.  Overall, the balcony was quite empty.  It was strange to look back and basically see no one.  :(

The crowd that was there was definitely into it, though.  The usual chants were going like at the previous two US gigs.

I absolutely loved seeing the band for the first time!  Wonderful memories I have now when I listen to their songs.  :)

I'll post more later....

It's disappointing to hear that it wasn't sold out.  I wonder if it was a mistake to book two shows so close to each other? (Seattle and Vancouver)

I have a friend who went to the show tonight.  He's not a huge X fan but I introduced them to him years back and he does like them.  I can't wait to hear his thoughts on the show.

Yeah - I definitely would of liked to have seen more people there.  I would hazard a guess that the Main Floor was 80% full with the balcony maybe 20% full (if that).  I'm sure others can give better stats on the Main Floor attendance.

The band played like the house was packed though  :)

Good to hear it went well.

Infact a few short videos got uploaded just five minutes ago.

Opening of Silent Jealousy, Toshi was awesome, again.

Part of Rusty Nail, clips a bit crackly but its okay.

The show was amaaaaazing. I was sad at the lack of attendance but the crowd that was there was very engaged so I hope that the band appreciated the effort. :l

The pictures I took turned out awful because my camera is on the verge of death but I did get a few pictures that you can at least make out (the ones where the subjects were standing still. :)

You can see them here: http://www.twitpic.com/photos/saprobe

Endless Rain, video cuts off during the audience singing the chorus at the end.

And here's the ending,

Not great quality but you can tell Toshi hasn't sung it this well in a long time.

woow, Toshi sounds really, really good *_* [and Yoshiki sounds very optimistic, haha] ^^  Thanks a lot!

First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win. (c)

I just realised, why aren't they playing Tears? I think Endless Rain is on the new album as well but, Tears is the song that clearly has the English lyrics finished the most, (plus it had a better guitar solo imo) so why have they got Endless Rain on their setlist instead of Tears? I guess its a bit depressing to play every day, and Endless Rain involves more audience participation.

Keep my eyes on the US Tour. Their performances are quiet great far from show in Japan, but just got few attention from US. I bet if this situation still goes like this, I can't see the future of the band in US and another World Tour. Let's see how Vancouver show goes.

this is what yoshiki promise, they are rock band, they only play 1 ballad, if they put another ballad, it will be tears rf forever love..  possibly, endless rain is easier to sing  compare to tears.

I was implying they play Tears instead of Endless Rain, as in there would still only be one ballad.

I think Endless Rain is at least a little bit like X. I just don't see it being removed...
So if they are planning to have only one ballad it will be Endless Rain till the end. If they were to substitute another song or to generally decide on adding a second ballad then I guess Tears would be it.

So hmm...too bad this didn't sell out but I guess it would be too much for us to expect all of them to sell out,  right?...^^;;;

Yeah, I'm a Yoshiki fangirl. SUE ME.

sell out or not, i'd say this tour has been an overwhelming success thus far, just in terms of the publicity generated for the band.
