I'm going to post some low notes below but first, Just to remind you of a couple more high notes, if you're going to use clips/audio from his masaya solo career there's a great high note at the end of Fire City by Toshi with T-Earth, also the original recording of 'X' from 1986 has Toshi with high vocals and high (kind of) falsettos.

For low notes, you have to include the sections from 'Airport' from the Samurai Japan album when he sings "with my Tears", I think the first time he sings that line at 1:38 to 1:44 is the lowest note he hits in the song.

Also in this performance of 'Looming' and his cover of 'New York state of mind' he hits some low notes.

There are a lot of low notes throughout his 1998-2009 solo career, but I feel awkward looking at those now so I don't listen/watch them anymore.

Check out the videos above for low notes (sounds like an ad XD)

But unless you're basically done with the video (in which case I don't want you to have to add more stuff when you thought you were done) I think you should include the Jade performances from the Yokohama concerts a couple of weeks ago.

Maybe mix the clip showing the best high notes from both performances, I think when the lines "I still believe, together" and "now and forever, you'll be loved" are where he hits the highest notes.

Jade, 8/14 "I still believe, together" is higher on this version at 5:10 to 5:16

Jade 8/15 "now and forever, you'll be loved" is best sang on this version, 8:28 to 8:31

If you've already basically finished the video and don't feel like going back to it and adding more I understand.

Thanks. I'll see if I can fit those in. The video has taken an age because it's so hard to find low notes.

BTW, does anyone know where I can find that video of Toshi's last concert? Its been taken off of youtube and I need it for the clip as his lowest notes are there.

Sorry to post another high note, but I think this is Toshi's highest.

Go to 3:42 in the video, that's where the section with Toshi is.

I got Toshi put onto that video. :-D Not his highest note though, his highest in falsetto are those backup vocals in that version of Scars you posted. He hits his highest full voice notes in shouts during concerts.

This is a really bad vocal day for Toshi, but at 3:11 he really goes full pelt. I think more out of frustration for how he's struggling to sing the rest of the song more than anything, but he really manages to pull a high-note out of nowhere.

NP Ulquiorra. I didn't upload the video, but I suggested Toshi for the clip on the DDD forums. He's on the latest one as well.

Beauty/Broken... gah, that was a great note but it's painful to listen to Toshi there! He's struggling so much!

Someone's posted 'Airport' on youtube, so if you didn't have the song before for use of low notes you can now

"with my tears" at 1:38

Just wondering, what's happening with progress on the video?

Sorry for the delay guys, been sidetracked. I still need more low notes, they are really damn hard to find! Are there any songs where Toshi does any low songspeak? Most singers lowest notes are songspeak. But any low notes will do, and any more good highs as well, especially any high screams/shouts from live concerts! It'll be finished very soon.

Thaks guys. And thanks for helping me out with finding the notes. :-)

Blur - Scarlet Love Song has some nice notes. Lots of tenor high C's. I would have included it in the vid but I had to keep it under 15 minutes.

Thanks. :-) I do plan to make more Toshi videos. I think his voice these days is better than ever personally. His technique is way better than in the 80's/90's when he used to strain too much.

Do you know where I can find Toshi's last solo concert online? All the youtube versions are gone.

For any future videos you make, here's a few more studio recordings with high notes, I hope you have a nicovideo account.

http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm4759246

The songs with the high notes is the first one in the video '99 toshikata no love'.

And the last one in the vid, 幻の少年/Maboroshi no shounen which starts at 38:22

At the end of each song Toshi does several high pitched screams, I think some of the highest screams sound faided out in the background and things like that so just listen out for them.

http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm5625208

Beyond the Time - album version - 23:30

In the album version, at the beginning of the song you think some high pitched woman is singing in a really high pitch, its not, its Toshi XD.

At 4:19 he starts his last falsetto to end the song and right at the end his voice shoots up into a really high pitched scream for about a second, but I think its a very high note he hits.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=vvGo7XEAqV8#t=259s

Hearing this just makes me think that if he learnt how to sing falsetto properly, he might be able to sing as high as that falsetto on orgasm on the 1986 tv appearence, even now.
