in case it has never been posted. I feel like this version is even more 'tragic' than the final recording, perhaps the lack of vocals makes you appreciate how much this song is tormented even without lyrics.

nice found. I'm not sure if I heard that before.

I own the Rose & Blood Indies of X CD. There is also an AoL version on it. It's named "End Of The World"

just imagine that Yoshiki only took 2 weeks to conceive this masterpiece (I might be biased, but Art of Life could very well be the best song ever in terms of depicting an emotional experience of loss and then recover) while the new album literally takes forever to get out of its nest... https://www.loudersound.com/features/the-10-best-x-japan-songs-as-chosen-by-yoshiki

I don't know if it's possible for Yoshiki to play Aol again 😏,about new album,don't expect too much, that's not good for our heart

let me dream about AoL 2: written by Yoshiki, performed by... Somebody else (obviously).  ;D

but it's a rare occurrence that he lets others play his own melodies.
