I can't hear X over the interview, has something happened? The sound in the interview cut out during the solo.

Its gone quick! I would have thought another couple of songs but I guess you can only fit so much in an hour! Where was Born to be Free though?

I personally liked it overall but it was too short...T_T
Well, 1 hour isn't that much anyway.

Yeah, I'm a Yoshiki fangirl. SUE ME.

Did they stop the song, and the show in the middle of the Tears solo? Cause that's sure what it sounded like to me. How can you stop the song in the middle of a solo? I just don't get it.

Anyway, overall, quite good, not bad.

As for the audience reaction, well I don't know.

Yeah I think so... I'm actually quite disappointed in the whole thing really.
Not sure really why, but it seems like a half-arsed gig really. They could've done more withthe amount of time they had.

I wish they'd announce those US tour dates already.

Toshi should've cut back a bit on the showmanship shouting to the audience so much. They could've gotten Week End in there.

It was quite a good show though still, Rusty Nail, Kurenai, X, I.V ect. and Toshi's voice from what I could hear was the best since the reunion.

They should not have played Tears last though, or cut it off in the middle of the solo, which is what must've happened.

To be fair to X, 50 minutes is a very limited amount of time for a band of their stature. With most songs being fairly long, it was always going to be difficult to accommodate a lot within such a small amount of time.

I'm more interested to see what the major music publications will have to say about their performance. I hope they had a good time playing Lollapalooza and I hope that the fans did too.

Totally agree!

Hopefully we will get some good YouTube videos uploaded later! Will be good to see the reviews, see what people think! Maybe gain a few more fans - maybe some will join here?

Pretty much... I'll wait for a more concrete word on the setlist before I decide... I'm wondering if I can figure out who got the closest bet. We'll see... :P

Tg and rafaelo had the exact same setlist predictions, their posts were right next to each other, very odd. Not exactly accusing rafaelo of anything here. English is definatly not his native tongue so he might not have know the rules properly.

*facepalm* Oh well, don't worry about it, we barely got to see or hear anything at all, and the setlist wasn't really "blow you away" kind of stuff, it was okay though.

4. Kurenai (with hide on the big screen, Yoshiki on piano and Sugizo on violin)

Wait, you're kidding me right? They did a playback guitar solo, here!?! And showed some guy suddenly out of nowhere on a 50ft monitor that almost noone there knew about?
