Not sure if this belongs here or not, but when downloading music I found Holy Lonely Light by X Japan.  However it's not mentioned in any discography and when googled it appears to have been done by another band.  When I google Holy Lonely Light and X Japan it seems to come up on a lot of people's playlists as being done by them, but it is never mentioned in any article as being one of their songs.

Does anyone know if X Japan ever did a cover of this song or why it's being confused as one of their songs?

: Would you jump off a bridge just because everyone else was doing it?
A: Yes, because the pile of bodies would break my fall.

Try to download the other band's version from somewhere, then listen to them both... But I don't think X had a song like that...

I bet it's just a misunderstanding. Even I have never heard of it, and it seems like it's just a little group of people who do think it's by X Japan, which is causing all the trouble. It's like that "No Place To Run" song that was popping up everywhere. Some kid somewhere thought it was X Japan and names it like that, and then left his P2P program running and voila.

I got something like that too :u except it was called "Caged Drain", and basically it was the intro to "Cage" and then the rest of the song was "Drain." It didn't even flow well; I wonder where it came from...

There was another song this happened to to me and that's Scars. Before I was as familiar with X as I am now, I was looking for Dir en Grey songs and I kept finding "Scars". I found about half of the places I looked crediting that song to Dir en Grey. Then I downloaded it and it became obvious :P But until then, I was very confused.

People should make sure to label their music correctly!!    XD

Lady, lady are you ready to go?
Why do you have to be laying down?

Or maybe people should buy their music and not download them...
