Really cool idea, I envy his electric kit - mine is such a piece of shit, if it were better I would probably try something like this.

I saw a cover like this+vocals for weekend on youtube.

Is it just me or is his bending a bit of?

His guitar playing isn't quite upto par, but he's certainly proficient at what he's doing. Maybe he just lost patience and didn't want to make another take - filming/recording something like this is hard, I've done it before with a Blink 182 song (mainly because it was extremely simple to play on all instruments and I could do it all in one take flawlessly :p).
