From today (May 20th) until May 31st you can vote for the songs you want to see on the X Japan Best Of album, scheduled to be released this year.

Everyone has only one vote, so use it wisely!

The last song 'その他' means 'Others'

I don't know if there's any point in voting, from what we learned at the tokyo dome concerts a couple of weeks back, no matter how many people on the forums vote for the old songs the way it should be, there's always going to be far more fangirls voting for Endless Rain, Tears, Rusty Nail ect. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's the way it looks to me.

I've voted for Standing Sex anyway out of hope.

Edit: maybe I'm exagurating a little bit, we did get Rose of Pain and Dahlia at the concerts.

I am not sure if it really make sense to vote again shortly after we voted for tokyo dome..... why don't they just use the Tokyo dome result for the best album?? On the other side, if they say it's the best album, it will be strange if we don't find X, Kurenai, Endless Rain and Tears.....

I voted standing sex 4 times (with my mobile and laptop + my husband's mobile and laptop)

Yeah sorry, you're right, I shouldn't of said fangirls, what I mean is there's some huge group of fans out there who are voting for the same list of songs all the time somewhere.

Well....I understand that reaction when it comes to voting songs for a live set list....
But for a best of album?
I mean, in a best of album you normally find the most popular songs of a band, right?....
It looks pretty normal to me that those songs always end up being voted.
But it WOULD look normal to me since they are among my faves...
And I can't really imagine a best of without songs like Endless Rain, X, Tears, Forever Love, Orgasm, Kurenai...

Anyway....I dunno....XD
I wish the voting was set differently and that we would be able to vote for one song from each category instead of picking just one song...
I can't chose...D:

What somebody else mentioned is right, that most of the votes are going to go to the most popular songs, not necessarily because the people who voted them are fanboys or fangirls, but because they are the songs everybody wants, and a 'Best of' album contains what the name suggests - the best of X Japan's music catalogue.. unfortunately, not the best of unreleased demos, outtakes or the best of the new songs Yoshiki has wrote so far.

But just think that one more vote for 'Others' is one more song opening that could be something new or that we haven't heard before, and hopefully that won't be a karaoke track, or an instrumental, or a remix

It was in Pefect Best as well, though it was the radio edit....^_~

err not me as it took them 5 years to release Dahlia...well I simply cant wait for the new "best + new songs" to come out now XD

my guess is that they will use the polls taken earlier to decide what songs to include in this best cd. I just hope there are fewer ballads this time..

i agree with you i hate compilations too i want new songs not songs i already have. i too really wish "we are x" was on there. there other indie songs are not on there either i would have voted for "break the darkness" i love that song.
