I like them all, even Trance X a little. When I'm just listening to a concert/mp3 player I do skip Endless Rain live versions, because even though it's a good song, fans singing the same stuff 15 mins straight is something I'd only want to experience in real life myself :P

I don't like Desperate Angel and most of the "harder" stuff on Dahlia, like Scars.

I think it sounds too modern. The same goes for most of hide's songs. I really like most of Yoshiki's stuff though (although the ballad overkill can get a bit on my nerves sometimes).

People just reminded me how much I don't like Trance X, now I don't mind that kind of music but they managed to butcher most of their songs.  Kurenai is not bad but it made me cringe when I heard the Trance version of "Art of Life", I mean it was cut down (something I was thankful for in the style it was) and its just not something you do to such an amazing song.

What is wrong with things sounding modern? It's not like the only good music is old music, though I do like a good load of old stuff there is still good modern music, you just need to know where to look.  It's not surprising Yoshiki's stuff is the favourites of most members, it's a shame he didn't let the others do more of their own writing for tracks, may have given us a different look at the band's music as a whole.

Lol I guess I am the only fan of most of their Ballads. But cmon? Have you SEEN *STRESSED* SEEN! Endless Rain @ the '92 live? That's some emotional stuff right there! Forever Love as well! I guess if you grew up only listening to hard rock/metal you'll find ballads to be really slow and boring... Having 2 older sisters I was forced to listen to the backstreet boys/Hansen crap and I developed a taste for soft ballads.

For me the ballads are some of the best songs ever made.
As for the worst, that would go to maybe White Poem I, Wriggle or Drain.

I'm a bigger fan of their earlier thrashy albums Vanishing Vision and Blue Blood, so I like all of the high adrenaline double bass in yer face kinda songs. As for the ballads, I love em to death, even though they may be really cheesy at times, I still find myself wanting to wave a lighter around when I hear em.

Anyways I'm gunna say that I could do without White poem I or Wriggle.

Standing sex, musically it's a nice fast piece but the lyrics are....Horrible, you can just either cry or laugh xD

For starters, I have to agree with this.
Whenever I hear Standing Sex I get mental allergic reactions.
I only recently realised it's because of the lyrics.

It's more or less the only song I dislike though there are a few more that I don't listen as often.
Taiji's songs for example. Not because they are bad but because they aren't really my style.

Also, I absolutely adore the ballads...<3

Oh..and because like...3/4 of the thread posters mentioned that they dislike White Poem I....I decided that it needs some love so I have to declare that I find it very beautiful and always liked it. ;D

Yeah, I'm a Yoshiki fangirl. SUE ME.

Desperate angel, Joker, Celebration, Easy fight rambling, Miscast, they are all horrible.

HOW DARE YOU!!!.... Most of those songs are hide's.  I happen to really like Celebration... though the others I haven't listened to yet

i dont like the trance thing either im not a big trance person but i do like the "tears" one tho. i love the new songs and i love "standing sex" and the only thing i hate about "desperate angel" is the country sound at the beginning its kinda like dir en greys "jesus christ r n r" with the bon jovi sound. awsome songs but would be better without that part. other than that i must say i love every X song.
