This is not a joke, people, a woman who changed her sex, so that she is a man now:

taken from newsoftheworld.com

You can read it in the article:
http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/0806_exclusive_pregnant_man.shtml

And I've just read he gave a birth. He and his wife have a girl. :)

I read about that in a swedish newspaper a few weeks ago.

They've made crazy mpreg fans' fantasies into reality! T_T

Hm. I've read some public debates concerning this topic on Czech news sites... it made me sick. Our people can be so intolerant and downright evil sometimes.  :x

Woah! Heard about that too, but seeing it is just... yeah... I think amazing! I mean as long as the baby will be healthy and there's nothing to worry about - why not actually?

And out of the chaos I heard a voice telling me:
"Smile and be happy - it could have become worse!"
So I smiled and was happy... and it became worse

I've read it too and some reactions were really disgusting. But you know, people are always afraid of the things they don't understand.

I don't see why this is so controversial...

Biologically she is a woman therefore this baby is a perfectly natural thing and what is more important is that the baby will be born into a loving relationship.

This person was on Oprah about it. My mom told me and I didn't believe it at first. He was pretty as a girl. Ah well, congrats to them and all that matters is love for the baby anyways.

You know what's REALLY funny? ...

He's from my state!    I love Oregon.

I don't know what the big deal about it is, though. He still has a uterus therefore is still able to bear children. Makes sense to me.    More than that, I think it's really great that he was able to do that for his wife. It must have been extremely hard for him.

Lady, lady are you ready to go?
Why do you have to be laying down?

I'll admit I kind of don't get it, because if he sees himself as a man, why would he want to be pregnant?

But so long as they're both happy then it doesn't matter whether I get it, and as Camicat said-- why not?  Congrats to them both. :)

He didn't really WANT to be pregnant to start with; he did it because his wife couldn't give birth. I can't imagine how hard it was to be living your life openly as a man, and then having to go through a pregnancy. But he and his wife really wanted children, so he made that sacrifice for them. I think he's very brave and selfless.  :)
