Well, I don't believe that. Never heard of Pata having played an other instrument than guitar in studios. :shock:

And I hate to say that, but unless there's no official or reliable source, it should be marked clearly as rumor.

Well seeing as that site doesn't even credit hide or Heath then I highly doubt Pata as the violinist is accurate... I'd pay money just see him play the violin!!!

I heard of Pata playing violin before, but it only was on a fanpage and no word about a special song... gosh, no idea how much truth there is about it, but I always wondered. But even if Pata played, he surely already forgot. XDD~ I can only imagine him saying "Violin? Me? Playing? No way.".

I don't have the Last Song single, but I do have the Ballad Collection CD-- I just checked and, uh, no mention of Pata playing violin in the Last Song credits section, heheh. Fun to imagine though... how about the White Wind from Mr. Martin PV, but with a violin instead of the Les Paul? :lol:

I wonder how that rumor (if it's only a rumor) started?

Well, really - I think it's a rumor. Maybe again some strange Babelfish screw up? No clue, but I've NEVER heard about Pata playing the violin before. I would have wondered less, if there was mentioned Sugizo playing violin as support - but Pata??? :lol: No way!

Actually I wondered if the "Pata plays violin" rumor could be related to Sugizo. I mean, for example, years ago when Luna Sea and X were maybe the two most popular "visual" bands online... could someone have gotten confused and thought it was an X guitarist who plays violin rather than a Luna Sea guitarist? Hard to imagine someone confusing Sugizo and Pata but... you never know? :lol:

Yeah, this could really be possible. :? I mean, some people seem easily mix up things accidently and then those wrong informations become weird rumors. Though I'd understand it better, if someone mixed up hide and Sugizo...
