There wasn't a SCARS topic on the front page, so bam. I made one.

So, does anyone know what hide says in the SCARS intro during the live performances of it. I'm not a big fan of the song, honestly. I just like the intro. It has an "OK gather around everyone, here's a story for you" feeling to it.

it's the lyrics of scars, the first two verses i believe

AND I FUCKING ADORE THAT SONG... i prefer the one's hide composed more than all the others anyway...

yeah scars is with no doubt one of my favorites.
too bad that hide never did his own scars version like he did with drain (zilch album: whats up mr. jones)

He also had his own version of 'Miscast', which I found to be better than the X-version.

As for Scars, I actually found the Shiroi Yoru version to be the best. Toshi's deep voice and the solo worked better I think.

MISCAST on King of Psyborg rockstar is greatness!. Scars is a good song not really one of my favourites but nevetheless i enjoy it time to time.

I think the hide version of Celebration was... posthumously assembled (in Ja,Zoo fashion) from incomplete studio tracks, or something along those lines? The Celebration on the Tribute Spirits CD is credited as "I.N.A. - Pata - heath: CELEBRATION featuring hide".

Yeah that's true... I'm not completely sure about it all. But it was recorded anyway, the question is how much is actually from him

Anyone know if there was a S.E. of Scars on melody? I prefer it to the original one. Could it be the lowest song Toshi sings in X Japan?
