And once again! Thank you! :D

To me it sounds like the answer to the lyrics of Voiceless Screaming somehow. I mean to me the end of Voiceless Screaming is like the one is making it end all.
"I climb the stairs that lead me to heaven"
So Voicless maybe then is from one who was left behind.

And somehow it could be a matching metaphor for X, though maybe not on purpose. Since Taiji left it was the beginning of the end of X how they were these days. X finally somehow died (to me X Japan is sth very different, not only because Taiji isn't in it).
And then there's Taiji in D.T.R - the one left behind somehow (and I bet he couldn't forget about it all the years).

And out of the chaos I heard a voice telling me:
"Smile and be happy - it could have become worse!"
So I smiled and was happy... and it became worse

Thanks again for the lyrics Hollywood!

The lyrics are pretty similar to what I had imagined before... It's a sad song, but still very beautiful...

I never thought of it as an answer to "Voiceless Screaming", but it definitelly makes sense... But I guess the X thing was just a coincidence... Or maye it wasn't... Who knows...  8)

Well, if the lyrics weren't written by Mitsuo, but instead by Taiji, then I'd definitely call it something like a voicless scream from him. But that way as it is, I really don't know. Apart from this I don't know much about Mitsuo's way of thinking and as well not about his life. So I can be completely wrong and it's maybe something personal from Mitsuo.

Really interesting idea, I hadn't thought the two songs fitting together in that way but it seems like it could be so.

Oh man, and I have SO much to say about the death of X and the differences between X and X Japan... maybe I should make a separate thread just for that rather than saying it here.

Speaking of Mitsuo, or any of the other DTR members really-- does anyone know anything about them?  I'd like to find out more about them but have never found much info;  they remain pretty much a mystery to me.

A thread about the X/X-Japan thing would be nice... I always considered both fases of X to be very different too... Almost like different bands...

About D.T.R's members... All I know about them is some other projects or bands they were or are part of...

Taiji Fujimoto was the guitarist for 80's Heavy Metal band Dancer... He also released a great solo album entitled "My Quest" back in 1991... In 2005 he joined the Hard Rock group The Dead Pop Stars, and I believe he's still a member of it...

Mitsuo Takeuchi was a member of Joe-Erk before joining D.T.R... They released only one demo, one EP and one VHS... He's also a member of Taisyu Sakaba together with Eizo Sakamoto... I never listened to them, so I can't say anything... He was also a guest in Animetal's "Marathon IV" and Eizo Sakamoto's "Metal Icchokusen". He also had other projects like Hot Rod Crue and Funk Rocket, but I never listened to either...

Kenji Shimizu is also a member of Taisyu Sakaba if I'm not wrong... Don't know much more about him or the other members...

Cool, that's more than I knew about them anyway.  Thanks!

Other than Dancer, The Dead Pop Stars, and Animetal, I really haven't heard of any of those bands...  So other than Taiji Fujimoto, it seems that DTR is the "biggest" band that the other guys have been in?  (Or were their previous bands bigger than DTR and I just haven't heard the names before?)

Well, to me D.T.R is 'bigger' than Dancer and The Dead Pop Stars too...

And about Mitsuo... He was in another project too, called Metalfolk... They're were something like an Animetal cover... If I'm not wrong the other members of Metalfolk were the musicians from Gargoyle... I have on single from Metalfolk, called "Datoh! Animetal"... It's an 8 minute song, thta sounds like lots of 1 minute songs put together... It's a f*cking awesome song, and Mitsuo sounds great on it! Since it's only one song I guess I'll upload it for you guys to check out...

I once took a look at their websites, since Taiji has them in his link list.
But to be honest I've forgotten the most things again! Shame on me! XD

Animetal cover?  But... isn't Animetal already covers?  If it's covers of covers then I'm afraid my brain will explode just thinking about it.

But if Mitsuo sounds that cool on it then you've got me curious anyway.  I'll just try not to think about who's covering who. :P

Well, I guess I expressed myself the wrong way... I meant that they sound a lot like Animetal... They seem to make the same style of music, if you know what I mean... It's still damn good!
