Does anyone know if there's a specific meaning behind the cover of Blue Blood?
The covers for the other X/X Japan albums are all pretty straightforward and match the mood/content of the songs, but Blue Blood's a mystery to me. It's an X with... tree branches? Broken pieces of something floating around in blue blood? Are the branches coming from the ends of the X intended to make it look like a swastika?
The best explanation I can think of is that branch things are torn veins, which spilled blue blood to make the blue background, but the design is so abstract that I don't know if that's what was intended.
