I don't personally understand what "Cybernetic Crime" has to do with the rest of the lyrics. What do you guys think?
I even don't have a clue what "cybernetic" means. xD
Well, let's take a look at
wikipdia"Cybernetics is the interdisciplinary study of the structure of complex systems, especially communication processes, control mechanisms and feedback principles. Cybernetics is closely related to control theory and systems theory."
Well, with that definition, I'd simply say it's sth against the anonymity of the modern times. It's just that people feel more and more isolated these days with all the technical stuff and electronic communication (Welcome to the internet - you're right inbetween the cybernetic crime, huh?
).
So maybe - though I can just guess and as well can be completely wrong since it's simply not my native language - it means, that one should fight a little bit against that growing system of anonymity with control at every corner and should just try to find ways to get some warmth into one's life and then fight to keep it.
"Preachers sing, 'Hallowed Be Thy Name'
Don't you dare believe a word they're sayin'
You'll never fall"
And about this I'd say, that there's not only meant the preachers in the usual meaning, but also preachers of the modern times. We do find them everywhere, how they try to tell us how to live our lives and suggest several lifestyles with advertisement, soaps and any other media around us - telling us that
this is the
best best way you'll find ever for your life. I think it's just a call to the listener, that one has got the fuckin' right to choose his own individual lifestyle, which one really wants and loves - not the ways one gets suggested everywhere, not those stereotypes.
 Err... yeah... feel free to tell me arguments pro/contra my theory, hehe. I just can hope, that I didn't fail completely, haha!
If it's meant like I analized, I reallly like the lyrics!
EDIT: How could I forget this now?! A
BIG THANX to you, Hollywood!!!
