Hey, does anyone have a close-up picture of hide's tattoo at all? I remembering seeing one but I lost it and cannot find it for the life of me

I am interested in actually getting it done to myself hehe :lol:

I would be killed by the family and my girlfriend, but what the hell

yes i love that tattoo and i'm thinking of doing it when i grow up....i dont have a pic but if i remember well it is sth with a sword but i'm not sure!if anyone has a pic of it,please post it!!!

I found this photo recently:

It's from Mix LEMONed Jelly, which was in 1997. He apparently re-worked his tattoo by then. o.o There's more pictures of it if you scroll down a bit here. ^^

Very interesting, thanks for posting that pic and link. I had no idea he got his tattoo redone. Personally I liked the old dagger and rose better, great classic tattoo, but I can see where he may have thought it didn't fit with his image anymore.

Wait, I thought hide had the Saver Tiger logo tattoo'ed on him somewhere? Can someone confirm/deny this? I am fairly sure that he got it inked on him back in the late 80's when he was passionately rocking Tokyo Live houses with Saver Tiger .

That's interesting, I hadn't heard that one. Well, I can't confirm or deny either, but I'd be curious to see a photo of it if anyone has one.

Think it is more like a biggish cover-up job - have never seen any pictures that show it very clear to see exactly WHAT it is, looks like it could be a kind of tribal design - though wonder why he decided to get rid of the rose and dagger tattoo (each to their own!)...
