Right, this is the method I use with the latest version of IE.
Find the song you want to download. In this case, i'll use the Unreleased Version of Tears on Yoshiki's page. Click play. You dont have to wait for it all to play but you have to wait for the stream to finish downloading.
Now, go into your temporary internet files and find the mp3. It will only be around 3mb because it has a low bitrate for streaming. The location of my temporary internet files is:
C:\Documents and Settings\Lee\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Filesand the file is:
http://cache07-music01.myspacecdn.com/56/std_28ff3b7ca02c7b745fa4af06bbee517d.mp3?bandid=14155082&songid=10971633&token=19766_47bba0659&p=aHR0wYWZjNiN2NhMDJjN2I3NDVmYTRhZjA2YmJlZTUxN2QubXAz&a=0The first thing you need to do is delete all the crap after .mp3 so the link becomes:
http://cache07-music01.myspacecdn.com/56/std_28ff3b7ca02c7b745fa4af06bbee517d.mp3THIS IS STILL THE STREAMING MP3. Not done yet!
Now all you have to do is a simple rename. See the beginning part of the filename that says
std ? Change that to
full.
The final mp3 link will be:
http://cache07-music01.myspacecdn.com/56/full_28ff3b7ca02c7b745fa4af06bbee517d.mp3Please note: I did this and it worked fine for me but when I gave mark the mp3 link it didnt work for him so I think you have to stream the mp3 first so the server allows you to have a connection to it and THEN you can download the full mp3.
For firefox users, its a bit more challenging finding the mp3 link (I find the firefox cache very annoying. At least IE is just a giant list) but it is possible. You can also use a program that records all incoming/outgoing http protocols. One that I used which worked fine was
HTTPSniffer. The program is easy enough to use. Load it up and click "Debug Program" and select the browser. Open up the browser and navigate to the page you want and click the song you want to listen to. The program will give you the link (aswell as everything else so you'll have to look for it) and then follow the above instructions.
Hope this helps you all download songs that werent supposed to be downloadable
