For western artists I usually download stuff, except for my favourite artists, I buy all their CD's no matter what. As for asian, I have a nice collection of downloaded stuff, but since it's mostly 70's, 80's and 90's stuff, it's hard to find, so I have about ~100 CD's or so in a rack from all sorts of different artists.

I have tons of downloaded stuff. I'd love to buy everything but there's never enough money (+ I'm not the smartest person when it comes to buying music/dvds, I always seem to miss that there are way cheaper versions of the stuff in other stores   and obviously, mostly I happen to buy the expensive stuff)

RIP

Usually I download most, but if possible, buy after.

I usually don't buy stuff that I haven't downloaded before :P Don't wanna buy a pig in a sack :)

I download most things and if I like it (and I have money), i'll buy it. I fully believe in supporting the artists so i'll buy it. If the film or album sucks however, I will not waste my money. I dont care how "unfair" that might be, but I refuse to pay for something I dont enjoy. And if I DID buy an album and it sucked, i'd just return it and get something better anyway.

I download all music that interests me, and buy the albums I enjoyed. I think that's pretty fair, too.

I also don't buy until I have heard it - I have had way too many bad experiences with buying albums I don't like. (For example, when I first got into X and knew nothing about them I bought Trance X, and it was nonreturnable. I was furious. XD) Unfortunately, at the moment I am restricted to ONLY downloads since I haven't had money in quite a long time. But I have decided I simply MUST collect a small sum of money before the end of the month to buy those lovely re-releases of X. I don't want to miss that opportunity!
