Personally I think it's a bit too much to require the prescence of musicians who especially aren't in the business anymore.
They've moved on with their lives and surely want to get settled with something else.
New bands that aren't necessarily connected directly to hide can be just as capable of making it a memorable event, because just being influenced by an artist gives you a certain connection to it.

X Japan and Luna Sea reunited, noone should really ask for more since those two are like the only Extasy bands who could make money out of it.

Also, it's questionable if Yoshiki actually invited any of the oldies. If he did they surely would put a day or two aside to perform at this event.
I do find it a little strange because there are still some ex-Extasy bands that haven't disbanded, like Tokyo Yankees. Why aren't they there?

Wow, Maximum the Hormone!
Gotta love that band, they have such incredible spirit and a hella talented (female!) drummer.
Search for Zetsubou Billy on Youtube. The PV is a parody of different music genres

Also, I like a lot of the other bands, I think it's gonna be an amazing event. I sure hope there'll be videos availible!

Yeah the wedding dress thing was during 1991. I can check later and see if he's maybe wearing the same dress as either Yoshiki or Toshi, since I imagine it'd be expensive to buy like 4 wedding dresses.

General chat / When did you get into X/X Japan?

I first heard about them in early 2000's and downloaded a few songs, but by that time I thought they were WAY too hard for me (I listened to J-pop then). The only song I liked was Depserate Angel (which is one of my least favourites now xDD)

Then a couple of years later I got to hear my first hide song which was Tell Me, along with the video with cut-together PV's. I fell in love at once and started listening to his other songs, starting with the Ja,Zoo era and then going backwards in time to his harder stuff.
Eventually I was ready to listen to X Japan as well (once I had found out that HE had been their guitarist) and since then I've been trapped.

Keep us updated on how it's going with the reunion comic once you've started it. Don't post it piece by piece though, I wanna read it all at once!

haha, alright xDD I can't start it until maybe next week though, because right now i'm working on doing an X logo on my wall.
Also, it feels sort of unsure to start a comic about something that's unfinished (the reunion that is). Maybe I don't end it like it will end ofr real XD;
