General chat / Re: How did you discover X Japan?

Short story:

In 2005 I saw a drawing of Yoshiki which I found pretty awesome (and still do |D). The girl wrote in the comment how great "Tears" was and the whole band "X Japan". Since I had never heard of it I was soo curious and soon downloaded some songs - the first was Endless Rain.
The day I got this song my grandma died (in February) and after my mom had told me this, I listened to the song for the first time.
Well, what shall I say, I was totally overwhelmed, because I wouldn't have imagined it to be ... like this. The voice totally cracked me up (in a totally positive way!) and it so fit my mood :/

Man, I'm getting old, it has been more than 4 years ... @_@ Puuh ...

Wasn't THAT bad anyway ... Just way too long imo.

And the girls were totally ugly in my eyes XD (The recent beauty ideal in movies of skinny tanned girls with those huge lips just doesn't seem pretty for me |D)

Kutte, that's right, yeah There is no word like this in english, is it? Patch vest doesn't get it somehow imo. xD

And of course you can wear your Kutte often ... Stefan wears his in daily life very often XD For going out, shopping, just hanging around, whatever. Why not. xD

From a Lolita meetup in Schwerin in April (don't mind my hair and (no) make up, I got up at 5 am and had to get ready in my grandmas house with half my stuff at home. XD)

Aand I finally got the fotos from my first outdoor fotoshooting in last fall XD ..... Where I nearly overslept ... And the night before I had been out with my (almost) bf back then ... till maybe 6 or 7 am ... and slept a bit more than 3 hours. XD + It was unbelievable warm this day. I had to renew my (crappy XD) make up like 10 times. + My corsage broke some days before this shooting, so I had to wear the blouse without. =_=











(This has to be almost my natural haircolor btw ... xD)

I was in the city with a friend, eating something and looking around (didn't piss me off yet XD) ... as we wanted to go home a tram suddenly appeared and she told me it would pass the train station, so i got in quickly (she has been living here one year longer than me, soo...). Well, the tram drove all around the train station and ended somewhere in nowwhere, where I had to wait 15 minutes for it to drive all way back. My stomach hurt and I was thirsty, since I had given my friend the drink and didn't get it back ... then it began to rain and ... well, perfect *_*;

(BUT I bought the pokemon trading card game for GB today!!! YAY! XD <3<3<3 And Yu-Gi-Oh for PS2 *nerd* So this at least makes the end of the day good again. XD)

I find it kind of sad that the walkman is out of date xD

I have been eating the exact same cornflakes every single morning for more than 10 years now. And I still love them to death and could eat them 3 times a day (and often do).

I HATE pepper (the vegetable)

I am anxious about hair loss XD;

You got it *O* though this doesn't have anything to do with the club ... Eric and me (the club members xDDD) usually did other club activities ... like inventing new pokemon, trying to draw them, thinking of completely new pokemon games (like the black version, a rainbow colored, etc. XDD ...). Happy childhood ... xD~

If I come back on Sunday (gone for the weekend) I might open a new thread for this and all other kinds of childhood stuff. Just for fun XD

Oh, I nearly oversaw your question Ami XDD ... Pikachu just have had a hard fight, it was supposed to look tired and beaten up, not on drugs XDD

I just found this recently along with many other old drawings and stuff (which I might upload sometime, because some of it is soo hilarious imo XDD)

About my imaginary Pokémon-movie XD Of course the most important character there is Jasmin, a character I made up (she was a 14-year-old trainer, had all my favourite Pokémon on high levels of course XD ... And she developed a bond with Mewtwo XDD no idea how though. Some kind of half love, half friendship. Or whatever, never something physical though XD ROFL. I think she also have had some affair with Team Rocket's boss Giovanni a year ago, because of ... yeah, whatever XD She was a spy or something XDDD And fell for old men XDD; like I did/do sometimes. XD;; *cough* So, that's basically everything about her now. Oh, she had a best friend that my best friend had made up XDD and together both had catched all 3 legendary bird-pokemon ...... XD; Mary sues²²²²²²²²²)



My favourite part in this picture is the corner where misty and rocko stand ...... i wondered why she had this strange skirt, but then I got it: I could not draw legs. XDD That's the reason too, why Rocko is hid soso cleverly behind ... a wooden door XDD (at that time it was also common for me to draw trees or rocks where the characters hands should be xDDD)

I lol'd so hard when I saw this and remembered everything I had made up. XD I hope someone else also has fun with it XD

I, myself am unsure though ... I am somehow free for everything. But what I would never ever believe in was some specific god or several gods. I mean, religion is interesting. All the different histories of creation all over the world ... But people who take it literally? I mean, maybe there is some god or whatever, but I am pretty sure this is nothing we know of ... how could we? There are so many religions with hundreds of different gods ... and I am sure that no religion is able to "identify" the REAL existing being.
I have absolutely no idea if anybody understood what i was saying XD

I believe in nothing and anything ... On the one hand I do believe in science ... that what we think are emotions are chemical reactions of our body, etc. But on the other hand I also WANT to believe that this is not everything. I am romantic and so I do 'believe' in some kind of spirit too. Something that makes each person individual and that survives the body's death. Also this sounds very kitschy and it's really more a want to bleieve than what i really believe in the end XD The imagination is just way better for me and less discouraging, if you know what I mean xD I think that many many people do this secretly. I mean, who seriously wants to think about death as "I just die, my brain is dead, my heart stops beating and the world around me just vanishes. Then there is NOTHING". Nobody even can imagine this seriously (if i try to imagine how this feels I just can't and I get panic. We can't imagine the state of "not being" and this is scary ...)

I believe that everybody should have his/her own religion somehow. Following the guidelines of some institution, going to pray there, etc. ... that's nothing for me actually, though I believe in christan values. But I don't believe that someone should guide me or tell me what to believe in detail, etc.

I know my post is bad structured and confusing, I apologize XD *goes and plays FF* XD

Me and my ex were supposed to meet, because he still has my playstation 2 (and i just bought 2 new games and then remembered it =_=). I waited for him at the meeting point, but he wasn't there. When I called him 10 min later he said he already left because "I thought you wouldn't arrive anymore" .... info: i was like 3-4 minutes late.
GRAAAR. Would someone mind driving to his home, taking him and throwing him out of the window or something? ><
