X JAPAN World Tour / Re: Anyone Going to see X Japan in Hong Kong???

I live in HK too, bought the 1680 ticket. It happens that 4 Nov is also Pata's birthday, we should give them a memorable evening!

Did you go to 2009 Live too? It was Heath's birthday and we sang happy birthday, haha. We should do the same for Pata.

Hopefully we'll start seeing promotion again. Last time in 2009, there was considerable amount of posters and TV adverts for the live show(s).

Hmm...do you think it's possible that they are not perfroming at the Bird's Nest because the venue to too big and they may not sell enough seats? ...just thinking of another reason why they wouldn't be playing there, because I find the reason that they aren't playing there because they are Japanese kind of hard to believe...

I'm with you here.

Having lived in Beijing for half a year, I can safely state that in no way, shape or form, would X Japan ever come close to selling out the Bird's Nest. The majority of Chinese people simply cannot afford the ticket prices, and interest in X Japan isn't that great. Household names such as Jay Chou have sold out 50,000+ capacities before, but I don't think many musicians want to risk playing above that capacity, due to the volatile nature of the Chinese consumers.

The Worker's Stadium in Beijing is a really large venue, that's also set in the heart of Beijing's entertainment district. I don't think the concert will take place at the actual Worker's stadium, but much rather at the indoor venue that's nearby.

I remember meeting Ann at the LUNA SEA show and she was such a lovely individual, really easy to talk to and very kind. I am very shocked to hear this news, my condolences go towards her family. RIP.

Summer Sonic is one of the biggest festivals in Japan, along with Fuji Rock. It's held in Tokyo and Osaka and features many international artists.

I was actually considering going before this X rumour, but if it does indeed turn out to be true..then it's more reason for me to go :D

Good setlist.

I would have thought the HK show would have got something special like "Forever & Ever" or "Up to You" but I assume the band want to keep it fair for Europe and America, nevertheless a great set.

Yoshiki's probably looking for some tips on how a reunion should be, if you told me the year X reformed that Luna Sea would have an album out and toured both America and Europe before X,(in less than half a year too!) I would've called you a nutter.

What approach do you think LUNA SEA will take after the new year?

Yes, I got number 36 and got a killer place. Dead-middle second row. Went there around 10am... it was cold. VERY COLD.

And btw, there was also pink and black towels for 15E I think. I would have wanted one but they're sold out in like 5 minutes ):. However I was able to spent 90€ for t-shirt, hoodie and a bag. hoops..

Did you also see that item that looked like a pen? I couldn't see exactly what it was :(

Hmm... No I didn't? If there was Luna Sea pens I'm sad that I didn't get a one! Are you sure that they weren't ear plugs?

haha I don't know, like I said I was quite far away and from a distance it resembled a pen. It was silver colour and quite long, maybe it was ear plugs :P

Photobook is more of a pamphlet and that was 15 euros. I think I also saw something that looked like a pen, but I cannot confirm this.

I am coming, but my boyfriend got sick and another friend doesn't have time afterall... :/

Well, I'll bring the spare tickets to Bochum, so there won't be any shipping fee either

There is also a spare bed for one of the booked rooms, so accommodation will be provided :D

I like Haruki Murakami books, i was read "After Dark", "Norwegian Wood", "A Wild Sheep Chase" and now i'm reading "The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle". Last time i was read Lian Hearn trylogy and a lots of novels to school like Goethe, Kafka. I want to read someday Yoshiki's biography ^^

The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle is my favourite Murakami book, it's absolutely superb in all aspects.

I'm now reading Flaubert.
