Just bought it off iTunes (though did listen to it before) and it sounds a bit... sterile to me. But otherwise an awesome song and I can't wait to listen to it in London!

How good tickets can you get right now anyway? I remember the really best seats were sold out in days, if not in hours.

Well I don't remember there being any meet & greets before the last World Tour shows, and those were held in small venues with maybe only a few thousand attendees. I imagine that the Wembley concert will be a lot bigger.

Not really :)

... I kinda like Drain.....

Wow, this looks awesome really! Thank you for the videos!

And it's really good to hear Toshi sing older songs again :)

They had some sections closed off in Paris, so I guess they'll do that in MSG as well.

Glad to have you with us again nage! It seems like you are doing better and better :) Good luck with your universities!!

And speaking of the Finns, me and my then-girlfriend-now-fiancèe visited a bunch of Finnish X-Freaks back in... October 2012 I think, while Kyubi/Clemènt was also studying in Finland, so we had a small X-Freaks get-together, which was a ton of fun, watched some concert videos and of course, drank! :D

Well, the last time I was active here I was about to go to the army (as a conscript, not as a volunteer). I went in two days after the X-Japan Paris live, served there for 11 months, was able to shoot a few smaller guns and one bigger one (AK-4, Galil AR and Carl Gustav M2, if those mean anything to you) and overall survived. After that I got a job, finished my bachelors degree, started doing my masters degree, quit the job (because of differences in school and work schedules), did a few internships and now got a small job that I plan to keep only until I get a better one.

On December 28th last year I got engaged with my girlfriend of three years and now I'm about to start my second semester in my masters course in Public Administration.

The Concerts / Re: Has anyone ever met any X Japan members?

I helped Asu (and a few others) escort Toshi and Yoshiki in Paris... And was on the train... Damn crazy fangirls :D

Also did an interview with Pata (and the rest of Ra:IN) in Berlin in... 2008? And saw them later in Köln. Crazy bunch of people I say!

Yeah, the forum seems pretty abandoned to me... :P

Just a quick update - I finished working on the new forum a while ago, but I haven't done the switch yet, because I haven't managed to get the XFF theme to work on the new software, and Astrid , who created the theme, has been really busy recently. Hopefully she can fix it up soon (it shouldn't take long once she has some time).

Unless someone else here knows CSS and such, and is willing to help out :)

Hello everyone!

I agree, this forum has gone down. Mainly because I wasn't around (see this thread) for a year, but now I'm back. Thank you everyone who kept through these times and hasn't left!

By now it is pretty clear that this version of the forum is quite bad - despite several security measures, tons of bots register every day. I have tried to update the forum software, but since I'm not that good at it and these things never work as they should, I haven't managed to do it yet. So, my idea right now is that I might close this version, keep it as a kind of an archive, and then open up a new one, looking quite the same I guess, from a clean slate. It should be possible to transfer all the members, so you won't have to register again.

If anyone else has ideas, suggestions for the new version, what software to use, whatever, then feel free to tell me here or by email. I will temporarily close registration for new members, so there shouldn't be many spambots popping up any more.

X JAPAN World Tour / Re: The X-Train project - London to Paris
« on: July 02, 2011, 07:20:39 PM »
Yay I'm in Sanspo... Again :P

I was in the 4th row on the "balcony" and I think the sound was more or less ok. I mean I could've used earplugs, but nothing too bad... I could hear most of the stuff well. Except for some guitar sound problems towards the end.

I'm not going to say much as most of it has already been said. But Yoshiki, if you are reading this then THANKS A LOT for jumping into the crowd 1m away from me so that the whole crowd then wanted to get through me closer to you :)
But there was a nice tall guy from xplosion online who let me infront of him so I actually got to see the band during the encore! AMAZING yoshiki on piano is just magic. and yeah i think he was shaking his head at the clapping.
No problem, you were so short that letting you in front didn't hinder my view at all :)

Just saying a quick hi to everyone from our London hostel, I think I might be the first one here.

I think we'll get to the venue sometime in the afternoon, if not earlier, and set ourselves up at the park across the street from the venue, since it is forbidden to camp next to the venue itself and no one wants to be denied access to the show eventually (though I doubt it'll come to that).

Just come around, say hi and have fun with us! :)

PS: The same basically goes for Paris, but there are tons of French fans there who will probably organize stuff. Also, we will arrive two days earlier so we might think of some stuff to do the day before, for example we might meet on the Sacre Coeur stairs for a group picture (Google it). More details will follow :)

If you like the old theme more you can still change it back from your profile options :)

I do have them left but sadly you'll have to remind me in about a month... :)

Seems like the comic will be based on an upcoming X Japan PV. I guess it will be Born to be Free, where Stan Lee plays the Satan...

Yoshiki / Re: Yoshiki officially on twitter!
« on: June 11, 2011, 11:18:20 AM »
Yoshiki has tweeted a lot since the last post here, but I'll just bring out the most important ones:

I think I'll go back to London and attend the Harry Potter premiere after the Xjapan Berlin show in July! ヨーロッパツアーのあとハリー・ポッターのロンドン プレミアに行くよ! On June 9th (the Harry Potter premiere is on July 15th).

I'll make it happen! RT @Alighieri666 WHY only peoples who lives in Japan can download new song?I'm from Russia and i can't?????? on June 9th (they were talking about Scarlet Love Song... let's hope he keeps his promise)

We will release Xjapan's worldwide debut single very soon!! もうすぐXjapanの世界デビュー曲がでるよ~! on June 9th (let's hope so!)

Just finished editing Xjapan's LAST LIVE video (full version) ...took more than 13 years ...'cause it's so painful to watch... without tears on June 11th (ummm.... oh well...)

Important / New theme and ANARCHY!
« on: June 11, 2011, 10:02:58 AM »
Hello, two important things!

First, I have implemented this new beautiful theme, designed by our lovely AsukaMiyu. I originally planned to reveal this along with the website, but I haven't been able to finish it in time due to university (it actually just needs some texts to be written about the band members, if anyone wants to help in the future, feel free to email me on admin[at]x-freaks.com). So I'll let you enjoy it now! :)

Second, I'm leaving tomorrow early morning (4:30AM London time) on a trip through Ukraine, Moldova, Romania and Bulgaria (bus to L'viv, then train to Odessa, then hitchhiking with a friend) for two weeks. On June 27th I'll take a plane from Istanbul to London for the London and Paris X Japan concerts. During those 3 weeks I won't be able to be online (maybe only a little in London & Paris if someone lends me his/her laptop :) ). After the Paris concert I'm flying home for two days and on July 4th I'm being drafted to the Estonian Defence Forces for 11 months (mandatory for men up to 30 years old here) to learn how to shoot a gun, crawl around in a forest for a week and guard the president (the corps I'm joining is also the Presidents personal guard unit). During those 11 months I will only be able to visit the forum briefly every few days (more on Sundays though).

Now, this won't mean this forum will close! No way! I'm leaving a few people here who can delete spambots and keep an eye on things (admin AsukaMiyu will lead the forces from today!). But in the long run they'll also need some help. So, whoever is interested in helping out as a moderator, contact me by PM! I'll look over the applications before I leave for the army, that means you have three weeks to think over it. If you are coming to the London or Paris shows also, you can contact me there (you'll recognize me by a white flag with the new X-Freaks logo on it).

I'll check the forum a few more times before I leave, so feel free to ask any questions while you can! But until then, it was a pleasure and see you again, basically, in a year!

Hypno aka. Sander

PS: I might change my username (Hypno) to my real name (Sander) on the forums soon... Hypno is just so... 2005 :)

Nice, thanks for all this. I'd love to hold a full English translation in my hands one day :)

There was discussion about it in another thread. The page changed yesterday already.

Because a) they are trying to get mainstream success and b) they won't get mainstream success with Japanese songs.

It can't be worse than the Vampires Everywhere band they had in the US... Right...?

EDIT: And I don't think they are, quite the opposite: http://www.myspace.com/japanesevoyeurs
