You know that book is sitting on my desk within reach of me. Now I have an excuse to get to work on it. You are looking for a full translation of it right?

Offtopic / Re: X-Japan Creepypasta.

I've been putting this off for too long so I'll put the next 4 parts here now. I was planning to do a page a week. Any feedback or criticism is welcome as well.

Part 2

User: Yasuhiro Sugihara. Folder: Where is Yo-Kun.

I have to pause to take a break. I may as well write down the details of what's happened so far but I"m having trouble finding the words to describe how bizarre this situation is. So far the staff here and in his studio either doesn't believe Hayashi-San is locked inside his own house, responds with silence or in a very few cases we've been told that it's up to us. I can't get a locksmith because the door has no visible locking mechanism even though it's clearly locked. I tried to call emergency services but Morie-San informed me that this did happen long ago, yet for only a day instead of a week when the door finally opened on it's own he looked....well....thin. As in thinner than his normal self. When the ambulance arrived the workers threatened to call the police on us when they saw the room before running, as in literally running away. It seems the rest had to pick him up off the floor and take him to the hospital themselves. He was wolfing down food once he was stabilized. Yoshiki. Caviar and champagne Yoshiki. Wolfing down hospital food. I can't imagine it. One thing that did catch my attention was that HEATH did say he saw something unusual. He said he was sure there was someone else present. This may be due to Japanese heritage and he only saw something for a millisecond but the best he could describe it as is a well kempt onryo. Ishizuka-San is also here. Then there's the knob on the door. Obviously it's locked and there is a very small letter T etched on it. The same T that's been used as Toshis solo career logo for the past 15 years.

Part 3

User: Yasuhiro Sugihara. Folder: What does Toshi know?

I showed Morie-San the etching and we both talked to Deyama-San. Pata was there and more quiet than ever. This is something that only the two original members of X are privy to and Toshi says it was from a long ago pact. What that pact was is something he won't turn loose of. The main thing is that if Yoshiki stays there any longer he may die if he's not dead already. With my own activism and the protests I went to and organized to help save the worlds lives I sure won't let my bandmate and band leader die. When this happened before the door opened on it's own and he was taken care of immediately. Deyama-San seems to be waiting for the door to open but what if it never does? Right now, as I'm writing this Morie-San is trying to reason with him while he's trying to regain some form of composure. At first he said the door can't be unlocked from the outside until I pointed out the mark I found. He then froze in place and all he said was that we couldn't let it out. He was white as a bedsheet and trembling as much as, well, the time we first met and he had other things to be afraid of. I need to stop here. Toshi just reached out and opened the door saying god help us.

Part 4

User: Yasuhiro Sugihara. Folder: We found Yo-Kun.

I have no clue what to make of this now. Yes, Hayashi-San is in the hospital and arrived there thin and desiccated just as described by Morie-San. Deyama-San has some connection to this but he's way too terrified to convey what he knows to us. I would say things almost seem supernatural. As a committed sceptic, that would have been something I would have never said until what I witnessed. Now I've been praying to any Good or religious figure I know of and, in keeping with the Japanese tradition of everything having its own God, I even prayed to my guitar. I'm getting ahead of myself. Let me get back to the start. Once the door was opened we all went in except for Toshi. He walked away to have a seat and try to stop shaking. He's either keeping watch, keeping distance or both. Morie-San and I checked inside, Ishizuka-San was there, and this room was just a bedroom. Granted an ornate bedroom just like the other ones in his mansion with a high end TV, luxury furnishings, white walls and a wet bar stocked with Yoshiki wines, but no Yoshiki. The only odd thing at the time were these odd, faint patterns on the walls that kind of looked like faded black veins and a fountain by one wall. Except it appeared to have the decorative fountain part removed and was just a concrete basin with water running up and over the sides of it. Those were the only 2 differences until I looked closer. As if on queue and waiting for someone to claim him I saw blood form in the water of the fountain and then Hayashi-San floated to the surface in what looked like a suspended animation as well as also looking drained. As we were pulling him out and leaving that room I made sure the door was closed behind me and then I noticed that Deyama-San was gone. We saw no one enter or leave that room but Toshi saw someone or something that scarred him so bad he didn't even shut the front door on the way out.

Part 5

User: Yasuhiro Sugihara. Folder: The aftermath.

It's been a month now. Hayashi-San thanked everyone for helping him in the same way he always exchanges pleasantries as if we were doing a contract signing. He now considers everything done and taken care of. I think both him and Toshi are still in grave danger. Whatever is after them wouldn't give up after two attempts. Me and Morie-San are at Yoshikis place to confront him about the risk he's putting on him and Toshi. Toshi's a complete mess and wants to be anywhere else but here. Pata is here too. Here is what we know so far. Whatever it is that got Toshis head on a swivel is obviously not normal and I should quite possibly entertain the notion that it's not human either. It's definitely not a well kempt onryo since onryo are hardly ever "well kempt" at least according to tradition. I'd say vampire since Yo-Kun was drained but there were no puncture wounds concurrent with a bite. Who knows? This maybe some crazed and looney fan. There's also the door though. HEATH, Pata and I all tried to open that door and it was locked but Toshi was just able to grab it and open it as though it was his own place. He was also the one who least wanted to open the door. He still needs to be here. Just pretending this will all go away is only making things worse. Just now Toshi just ran in here screaming and is cowering behind Hayashi-Kun saying "don't let it get me." It looks like we're not alone.

I guess I'll start since I brought it up.

A most likely needed disclaimer first. This is of course a fan fiction so even though it is based on existing works and the public life of existing people, it is not meant to be a commentary on any of them, a statement of fact, an existing work in the intellectual property holders cannon or most importantly for sale. This is a work of fiction and outside of being an existing works creepypasta 90% or more came from my imagination. May contain some descriptions of graphic violence and light femdom, yes I'm a Yoshiki fan big surprise, though nothing too explicit since this is a creepypasta and not a slash fic, "Standing Sex" puns aside. I also am not at this moment going to include Hide or Taiji in order to give due respect to the dead.

Yoshiki's secret room.

User: Yasuhiro Sugihara. Folder: Notes On Whatever This Is.

After more than a decade of being in this band there's still so much I don't know about them. Even if no one sees this, I need to have a record so I can figure this out. I knew coming in that Yoshiki San has several walk in closets in his mansion and studio and most of the X-Japan members each have their own skeleton army to hide in them. So knowing that Yoshiki San has a private room should be no surprise at all. I always assumed it was his love nest since several women have visited him there, and of course left with a smile. Although I have seen Ishizuka San go there several times. He always treats it the same way he treats everything. Just like it's another job to do. Other than that, he's just there. He has never said what happens there, only that "there are some things we were never meant to know." Morie San wants nothing to do with it and Deyama San seems to be afraid of it but still wants in as if it were a sense of duty. Yoshiki San keeps telling him to not try so hard. I did once ask Yoshiki what happens in there and he just said "it's less than you're hoping for and more than you can handle." None of this mattered until today when Deyama San called the rest of us over to Yoshiki's mansion frantically panicked. Yoshiki missed an appointment the day before which was odd enough but even worse is that he hasn't left that room for a week.

I'm currently writing a Pathfinder campaign. Incidentally Yoshiki is one of my characters. I may write something myself after that.

May as well make a thread about this since Yoshiki is a big horror fan. That and one of my all time favorite creepypastas is not only a music based one but was around decades before creepypasta or the internet. Specifically the Paul Is Dead one. Not gonna lie. I could definitely see Yoshiki discovering Marble Hornets or Jeff The Killer and getting the band together for a new project just to forget about it next week. Who knows. Might have already happened and was met with shrugs or "not this again" groans. Then again they've had enough actual real horror to last a lifetime. Anyway if there any writers on this board that may be an idea something that's been missing for a while.

I for one wouldn't mind a new dedicated drummer so that all songs past and present (and future eventually) can have both piano and drums. Maybe dual drums on the heaver songs that can't use piano. On the other hand maybe Yoshiki should stick to piano only so he doesn't kill himself. Hide and Taiji are already dead and Yoshiki was near death several times. I'm certain that if Toshi was still in HoH he would be dead by now. It might be good to see Riku from T-Earth officially join X-Japan as well.

thank you ottkaji,

maybe we should made a translation section in the forum?

Is anyone willing to help me and do a little moderation jobs? Mostly for spam

I would like a translation section too as well as a translation request section and would gladly volunteer to help. If you're willing to give me moderation status I could help in keeping the spam off and blocked since I noticed there is a lot of it. Of course I'm still only at Newbie status so I don't know if that would affect anything. I just remembered I still haven't done my introduction yet so I guess I should get that taken care of.

Edit: just found the translation requests and am going through them now.

This is my first actual translation and I may have filled in what may have been meant to be incomplete sentences as well as the fact that a lot can be up to interpretation but here it is.

ToshI Airport Lyrics.

Right now I have already lost the ability
to believe in the things I've done and the incredible lies.
Even with what I was told to sing I have already abandoned
what you're certainly familiar with after a truly important encounter.
That's why one must start a new journey.
Bid farewell to confusion and sorrow
and in misery head to the airport.

Waking up in the morning to discover
all my disrespectful beliefs were nothing but a lie.
After losing my singing voice
This time I wont turn back. Leave that long distant dream to vanish.
That's why one must start a new journey.
Every day running away from the deception.
Cut up and abandoned at the airport.

That single word that was impossible to say.
Every day hating the truth.
That's why one must start a new journey.
Everything was a mistake and ruled my heart.
A shining futures airport.

Here's the original lyrics in case anyone wants to check for themselves.

Samurai Japan. I can't even find a copy to buy except for one on Japan Discoveries website and for some reason when I try to buy it there's nowhere to put payment or PayPal information. The whole album is here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivh-DSVXy5s This is the song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pob28oBc4jw Unfortunately Toshi sings a bit low in parts to completely make out what he's saying and in Japanese class I was better at reading and writing than speaking and hearing. The reason I want to find the lyrics is because it's the first song Toshi made after escaping HoH and apparently the one where he calls them out. That most likely explains why he sings low at times but he does sound pissed, the song is great and Sugizo is incredible on both acoustic and electric guitars.

I just wondered if anyone knows where I could get the lyrics to the song Airport by Toshi? I tried to look them up in both English and Japanese but can't find anything and it seems Samurai Japan isn't for sale outside Japan anymore. If I can get the Japanese lyrics I can translate it here.

Edit: I just realized this might be better in the "Help" tab. Admins please move it if needed.

Hmmm, you would think Masaya would not release music that showed what he put people through.   Strange, that.   But maybe he didn't think he'd ever get caught and in a way, he didn't.

The first verse is sounds exactly like what Masaya and Morotani always screamed at him. The thing about cult leaders is that It's not the money or the ability to beat up or sleep with anyone they want that motivates them. It's the fact that they have complete control and want to make sure that the power they hold over someone is on display for all to see. Also going on the assumption that Toshi was actually allowed to write lyrics to this song and the writing credits aren't a complete lie, (always a distinct possibility) this was maybe an answer to Yoshiki. Ever since reading about Toshi and Yoshikis first meeting after rejoining X I kind of interpreted the chorus lyrics to I.V. to be, subconsciously at least, asking Toshi if he needs help and any lyrics Toshi wrote for this song Pain as an answer to Yoshiki. That answer being "Yes, get me the hell out of here." obviously.

apparently Masaya's songs are still on sale online. How's he still be able to get away with that  ???

From what I know, as long as there are no criminal charges you can sell any of your own products including music you want to and I don't think that they have a copyright on his exact name perse but only using it as a stage name. Of course they don't deserve the copyrights to anything from Toshi but the justice system works on what's legal and not what's right.

Back to the injury when I first saw the music video for Pain this part of the book was the only thing on my mind.

"Their goal was money
Until now, in these 12 years, almost every day I had to go to the bank to pay or transfer the money I had on hand to Moritani. After X Japan’s return in 2008, once in two weeks, Masaya would come from Nasu to Tokyo and I would pay the money for Moritani. In a month, if there was “little” money, it would be at around several thousand million yen. It there was “a lot” of money, it would be at around several billions. The only way I could escape from the abuse and violence, each time increasing in severity, was to pay Moritani.

One day, in late June 2009, after going through a lot of work to make 5 million yen, I was going to pay it directly to Moritani. She aggressively snatched the money from my hand, shouting in hysteria.
“This is not even close to being fucking enough!”
Some days ago I had paid her in cash 3 million yen.
That was when it happened again. All of a sudden, my ribs felt like they were being squeezed, breathing became painful, my forehead became damp with cold sweat. My face contorted from the excruciating pain. But, Moritani started with the verbal abuse with no concern for me at all.
“Because of you, everyone is having it rough! Fucking chin man!”
The cold sweat ran down the back of my neck. Grasping my fists, I was shaking. But I felt courage surging from inside my stomach and I couldn’t hold it back any more.
“In the end, it’s all about money, isn’t it?!”
This was one of these moments when I felt the strong sense of doubt I had accumulated show. This was the first time I shouted back at Moritani.
After a while of silence, she said in a cold tone.
“Would you say that to Masaya, face to face?”
I didn’t say anything.
I still felt a lighter pain around the ribs but I could barely breathe.
Unexpectedly, Moritani dramatically changed, now she started to cry.
“I just want you, Ago*, to do good deeds. I fully support you, Ago. I’m doing all this hard work to support you.”
I could only hear lies in these words. When she told me things like this, I usually felt very apologetic. But now, I only saw it as some type of acting.

Moritani was now, to me, a frightening demon who came to steal my money.

[* Ago = chin]"

As an update, I got to some of the sections of infamy and so far the images aren't that bad when altered in game but the meticulously and vividly detailed text (Hurrrggghh) kind of got to me. The best litmus test would be to ask if you're okay with watching variations on the Dir En Grey, Obscure music video over and over. I myself still find the game worth playing but can't exactly recommend it. Would anyone like a Clif Notes summary of the story with most of the extreme parts removed?

Look at the description. Specifically who wrote the lyrics and what those lyrics contain. It could be analyzed for years.

PAIN Album -- 09.3.15

You sleep in the freezing cold every night.
That's whatyou have done since you were small.
You sleep painfully under suppression.
That's the way you have always led "Nichijo".
Break off your weakness.
Keep on shouting.
You're too weak to say even a word.
Repressing every emotion within yourself.
With your tongue all tied up in knots,
You can never ever stop saying No!

My pain rules over me, never leaving me free.
The child inside of me is scared, wearing a mask.
He puts on a smile, regretting his destiny.

The world is full of little children just like myself.
They don not even dare to have a dream for the future.
I want to give courage to the entire world.
I want to show them the beauty of our Earth. Oh.

Free yourself from the pain,
And redeem your shining heart.

Unable to express your loving emotions,
Only to repress your ugly hatred.
Unable to realize what you've hope for
Only to deceive yourself in disgust.

Be courageous to love your pain,
Even to love your own enemy.
Be courageous to love our Earth,
Something precious you have never left behind.

The world is full of big grown-ups just like myself.
We've lost the path that leads us to the light.
I want to cheer up all the people of the world,
And encourage them to love this planet Earth. Oh
Unchain yourself from the pain,
And redeem your shining heart.
Why don't you regain courage
To cherish your one and only life?

Free yourself from the pain,
And reclaim your radiant soul.
Your crying heart, let it burn so wild.
Let it burn, "Moyase".

The fact that Toshi was recording Jade while Morotany was stalking and terrorizing him before he was kidnapped ruined that song for me a bit as well. I just realized that I'm about to go to bed after a graveyard shift and just gave myself nightmares.

tell me moar!!! :3

You got it. Fair warning. I do get a bit wordy once I get started. Oh BTW. Would you happen to know if and how hide spoilers on this forum?

Is it something along the lines of Doki Doki Literature club? I'm not very up to date about visual novels  :-\
however I find myself interested in such contents because I like to understand how our mind works.

I would say the best VN comparison would be the Danganronpa or ZKill franchise while Doki Doki Literature Club is a deconstruction of VN habits, cliches and formulas this one tends to defy cliches. It could also be compared to the Battle Royal manga, Saw, The Hunger Games or even as far back as Lord Of The Flies. In short a psychological dangerous game thriller. This is the game page censored but still NSFW. https://www.mangagamer.com/r18/detail.php?goods_type=1&product_code=141 For those that are fans of this Wiki heres the TV Tropes page. https://allthetropes.org/wiki/Euphoria

I think the first, and I believe most important, things I would need to bring up regarding my views would be the warnings and who shouldn't play it. Obviously it is an H game meaning there are porn scenes in it. That's always been a hang up for me in that depending on how engaged in the story I am, the sex scenes can be a bit jarring and intrusive or just plain get old, most likely due to them being clippable for a wider release in a lot of cases. You know the cliche of "I only watch porn for the plot?" This is subjective but if I play a VN for the plot, the H scenes can feel like a pop up ad. The same can be said about the reverse. If you're only there for the anime waifus a long involved story is a blue balls test. The infamy of this game comes from the themes of non consent, pain, humiliation and um...well. I'll just only say that the CG variants that can be turned off are "gore effects" and "human waste (feces)" and nothing is lost by turning them off unless you're in to that. Hopefully I don't need to explain further but if you want me to go into more detail about the exact contents to determine if you can handle it, let me know. Now my least favorite song, for the lyrics alone, from X-Japan is Sadistic Desire and I also really dislike the Vanishing Vision album art in addition to avoiding any H manga that features sexual assault (with a very specific exception, I'll get to that later) so the reason I was scared of this is it just had a lot of "nope" for me. I also want to emphasize that anyone who suffers from past trauma or has past assault or abuse issues should not play this game at all. In short don't show this game to Toshi. Also nobody should at all watch the anime since it only focuses on the icky parts of the game.

Now that I've gone into all the horrible things that would make this game a deal breaker for me I'll go into what made me still want to play this game. First and foremost is that unravelling this mystery, to me is incredibly addictive. Also there's the general premise. I love stories with this and those like Danganronpa and the hunger games. The trapped in a place and forced to do things that someone would never voluntarily do in order to escape or survive. There is also quite a bit of Freud and a little Milgram. The story itself is about a high school boy that wakes up locked in a room with 6 girls from the same school and like Saw told to play a game where he has to choose a girl and do whatever he's told to do with them on threat of death. The caveat is that he has very sadistic interests and that, for me is where the Freud comes in because that is classic id ego superego with the moral conflict. The game also puts a lot of focus on the moral conflict. As for Milgram, that was an experiment where test subjects were told by an administrator to quiz a student and administer progressively increased electrical shocks for every wrong answer. Of course there was no real shock and the experiment was meant to test perceived authority as opposed to this game that has real consequences and an explicit authority but the methodology of a subject, an authority giving orders and someone the subject is meant to administer those orders on is still there. One thing I was intrigued by was one of the girls is established early on as the antagonist of the story and likely behind the Saw game. The part that fascinates me about this is that in this case the administrator and the student are the same person meaning it's like the person being electrocuted is the one who is ordering the subject to electrocute them. I'm only around halfway through and see hints of the story going into repressed memories and have read from reviews that there is a very emotional arc coming. It's one thing to say that I played a game that required me to turn off the poop in order to enjoy it but another to say a game I had to turn the poop off to play actually gave me the feels. Then there's that specific exception I mentioned earlier to always avoiding titles that have sexual assault as a main premise. Aside from the case of this VN where the story wins out over objectionable content, what I mean by exception is when the perpetrator is female and the victim is male then I tend to actively seek it out. For context i'm male attracted to female. This title so far has quite a bit of that and that was the tipping point where I decided to play the game.

I will admit that despite turning off what I don't want to see that still doesn't remove the scenes but just alters out the things in question and there's still other things that are left unchanged and unchangeable so here is what I recommend, of course with the exception of if you're into that. In the system menu there's a tab for female voices. Each character has 3 volume controls. the top one is dialogue and the other two are I think for torture and sex. Turn the other two off or all the way down. They loop constantly in their respective scenes. To me they're all high pitched, shrill and make my ears bleed. For the CG events there 2 options when faced with something you don't want to see. The text box has a skip button so what you do is go to the system menu and make sure it's set to skip all and not skip previously read text. The issue with that is if you're like me and always want to make sure you didn't miss any plot specific text you have to open the log to read through it and if you want it to stop skipping automatically during the story when it get's to unread text you have to remember to adjust the settings constantly. What I do is if something on the screen is particularly unpleasant I just focus on the text box and read through it quickly until I get past it although I generally have a strong stomach and am a bit jaded. Here's my recommended order of completion based on the route with the least amount of story to the most as well as their corresponding X-Japan members for fun since I'm here.

First choose more than one girl for each of the corresponding 5 turns.
Second choose Rika. I'l put Hide here. Toshi would also work.
Third choose Natsuki. Sugizo.
Fourth choose Renne. Heath.
Fifth choose Nemu. Yoshiki.
Last is Kanaie who is only playable after Nemu. Taiji.
Toshi for the main character and Pata for the one that died at the beginning.

Before I forget. The music. This is the theme to the game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hm1k_Q8jX1k

This is the theme to the anime adaptation. Most likely the only thing good about it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4KyIFlYFgm4

I'm pretty sure most here are familiar with the 2 reputations this title. That it has the most vile and extreme content you can imagine and that the story is so good that it makes the slog of getting through that content worth it. I've been terrified of looking at it for years but once I found out you could turn off the most graphic content and skip through the harsh parts I dove in and got hooked to where I'm halfway through and don't want to stop until I find all the answers. The only other stories that got me this invested that I can remember in recent memory are House Of Leaves and Toshis book. So yes it is definitely worth it but only if you know what you're getting into. The reason I bring it up here is it has one character who turns a school into a crime syndicate and can get away with murder as well as another character who starts an extra funky religion that teaches enlightenment through suffering. Now where have I heard that before? Also the game has 7 characters and X-Japan has 7 members.

Taking this and Toshis book into account I kind of wonder if some of the lyrics in this song were a cry for help. The lyrics and credits are in the description but fair warning. It's very creepy in hindsight.

Sorry for taking a while to respond. Life emergencies, recovering from the second vaccine, work, socal and getting hooked on a visual novel that I've always been afraid to read but still wanted to know the story after hearing it's worth it everywhere. Turns out I can turn the worst of it off and fast forward through the rest of the icky stuff, perhaps looking over what's in the text log in case it's plot relevant, and the story is worth it. Back on topic.

I'm not to sure I would be comfortable just accepting money. I usually feel like I need to earn it first. I could maybe put it on an Amazon wish list and share it publicly but the reason I was looking for books in an electronic format is I'm starting off from 2 years of Community College Japanese so I don't have the vast majority of kanji memorized. Therefore if I could just copy the unknown kanji and paste it in Jisho.org it would be a lot easier than having to write it by hand in Google Translate because Jishos drawing tool is never accurate and then copy and paste it back to Jisho because Googles definitions are often incomplete. I wonder if there's an app that can look up kanji using your phones camera. In any event I did notice that the Brothers book by Hiroshi Matsumoto that I thought was completely translated actually skips chapters or has them out of order. Maybe I could cover what's missing. Basically what I'm looking for are projects to do. For instance I've wanted to know what the lyrics are to Toshis song Airport are since that's his Home Of Heart diss track or maybe a written transcript of his press conference when he left the cult. Maybe link to anything you want translated. I'll make a new topic in the correct place. Also a side note. Anyone know which board would most appropriate for X-Japan crossovers?

I would be willing to attempt translating any text anyone wants to read but not audio or video as of yet. I still have a bit of trouble hearing the language as accurately untill I know more words.

I'm trying to expand my own volcabulary myself and really wanted to read some of the books that are not translated. I already read Toshis book and found and linked Kyoudai Tsuioku No Hide and now want to read the book about Hide by I.N.A. as well as Never Ending Dream Hide Story, the Yoshiki biography and Taijis book as well as the one about his murder. If anyone knows where I can buy Kindle or E-Book copies let me know.

I did find a link to the full translation here if it helps. http://www.nopperabou.net/hide-index/kyoudai-p20.htm
