Albums/Singles / Re: Hero : X Japan version .
« on: August 24, 2014, 06:40:26 PM »
I'll reserve judgement on this song. I was listening carefully to the crappy youtube videos and that version of the song is still incomplete, the drums are the usual Yoshiki demo midi drums. Yeah the melodies are poppy, but a catchy X song doesn't mean it's a bad song. I'll wait for the release before I write it off.

X JAPAN World Tour / Re: X Japan at MSG 10.11.2014
« on: July 31, 2014, 09:39:29 PM »
Agreed. MSG is his dream.

Too much to think about a single release to support the MSG show and tour? The album is out of the question, I read somewhere that the album is now pushed back to early 2015...

I'm pretty sure Y was saying "Debut album" and they misquoted him...

Hi Guys,

Seeing that there's nothing much happening on the forum at the moment, I thought I'd post a link to a song my friends and I produced and recorded in my home studio recently.

Feel free to listen and download, any feedback is most welcome!
Hope you enjoy!

Toshi / Re: Toshi solo vids

Toshi's got to get rid of that hairstyle. There's a few scenes in that video where his hair is unstyled and looks a million times better.

Checkout my profile pic with Pata. I'm 6'1 and  ending over a bit. I gotta say I was pretty shocked to see how short he was.

Awesome! These "hide fangirls" treated him as if he were in the band. They went berserk everytime he went anywhere near the stage, to the point that the Thai fans were were wondering what the hell was going on.
I wanted to get a photo with these hide fangirls but they were sobbing so much at the end of the show, that I just couldn't ask them.
Incidentally, I was listening to them talk to each other before the show, and they were saying (while looking at me) that there weren't as many gaijin at the Bangkok show. I know I shouldn't get on my high horse but these girls would've been about 3 or 4 when I started listening to X! Damn elitists!

Here's something I thought about in hindsight...
Directly behind me at the concert were 5 Japanese girls, all dressed as hide in the fluorescent green suit. Everytime a certain crew member appeared side of stage, they'd all scream 'INA' in unison. Is it just coincidence or is INA from Spread Bever/Zilch/Dope Headz a part of X's current road crew?

Thanks again Elanor! Spoke to him in Japanese.
I was also interviewed by one of the news stations when I was at Impact. It'll be funny if that actually got aired.

I actually heard from a friend many years ago that Taiji wrote the currently used solo for Kurenai. Don't know if there's any truth to it as she was a massive Taiji fangirl.

20% of Bangkok is now flooded. It's still amazing that the show hasn't been cancelled yet even though the show is only 5 days away. I've read on Trip Advisor that the local 'experts' are saying that it would be "irresponsible" to continue with the concert with the surrounding conditions.
The only hope is that the airport is still dry, Impact Arena is still dry and all of the CBD and major hotels are still dry.

Hey Niwa, thanks for the update! :) If you happen to see a torrent for the DVD could I possibly use your account again just to start the torrent download?? :) You let me do that a few months ago and I really appreciated it. You can trust me!

No problem at all Feudal. I'll keep checking for a torrent and let you know if/when it goes up.

The Thai concert promoter BEC TERO has said at this stage the concert in Bangkok will go ahead. But this may change due to the flood conditions changing on a daily basis.
At the moment, the carpark at Impact Arena is being used as a safe place for people to store their cars from other flood affected areas.
Sorry if I sound heartless because I do have Thai friends in the flooding area, but IMHO, I'll be very surprised if I will be seeing X on November 8th.
