Moved to a new appartment today and the internet started working in like 2 hours <3 Also, this place is quite awesome in many ways.

Alsoalso, I'm going to Japan for ten days in a week! Can't believe it, to be honest. Can't see myself there. But it's happening, finally! \o/

I've been missing my period for a half a year now. Then they started. And it's now the second week I'm bleeding.
WHAT THE FUCK?

That happened to me once when I was much younger, about 12. I think it was because I was really thin. Maybe. Hang in there :)

... you read your study materials and see the sentence "the share of ex-Japan East Asia in total world imports..." and totally miss the point and start dreaming about hide and X.

Okay, I read it wrong too XDDD

Yeah, it's amazing when absorbed to economic matters (if that's even possible ô_O) you still are able to pick out that one hint that might be X Japan related. XD

I think it's fun to imagine that there would be ghosts and that those videos are real. But I don't believe in ghosts (idk if it's even sensible to talk about 'believing'). I have lively imagination so I get the creeps from those kinda "real-looking" videos, though ^^

Whoaaaa....
I really can't understand how people can desire chocolate so much. And always, all the time!
OK, I can eat it a bit but I never feel like "AAAH gotta buy some chocolate!!" nor other candies...
XDD (exept! Greek halva!)
I'll wish you luck, to get A LOT of chocolate for Xmas.

I usually crave for some "real food" .. like shrimps! Shrimp pasta! with parmesan on the top! AHH!
And also can't resist the cucumber mayonnaise (especially the one that Finnish hamburger restaurant chain - Heburger sells) with french fries. Or barbeque food! *___*
Top 3 atm. I'm hungry now! -_-
(Like usually in the middle of the night, so I start to plan what to eat right when I wake up in the morning.. XDD)

Hehe, me too. I usually crave for "real food" (and salmiakki!!) But my favourite at Hesburger is sweet pepper mayonnaise with fries <3 <3

« on: September 20, 2009, 03:54:49 PM »
Last night I had a dream where Yoshiki was my close friend and we were driving to a summer cottage here in Finland. At some point I lost him (he just vanished from the car and for a while no one was driving it ^^'). I went back to a small village to look for him and eventually found him good and hammered at a local bar. The end. :D

Let's just say I look twice my age (in person) but act half  ;D

Haha, quite interesting. I myself look like a 16-year-old and probably act like one too ;D Nowadays it's getting annoying to be taken for so much younger (being irl ten years older... whoops ^___^)

I forgot to mention I hate religion too. :P

Umm... didn't you just go on bible camp or something like that? :P

Almost everybody in Finland go to a "bible camp" when they're 15. And we get lots of money after the confirmation.

Yeah! The easy money \o/ (I bought a brand new camera with my money back in the day)

« on: July 23, 2009, 07:25:55 AM »
My name is Kaisu. And since it's quite rare name and 'Kaisa' being more common in Finland, people tend to ask me when I introduce myself, "isn't your real name Kaisa?" (or they just simply call me Kaisa). That pisses me off. But I'm pleased to have a name that isn't so normal :)

It looks quite freaky. The piano and the player just seems to vanish. But yeah, when you look at it closely, they seem to have some kind of a sinking platform.

Offtopic / Re: Religion or whatever you believe in
« on: July 15, 2009, 08:35:40 AM »
This topic apparently keeps me talking for ever and ever. Sorry mates :) But it's good that we can talk abour these kinds of things also, because these sre quite personal matters for everyone.

Believing in god(s) is a very deep psychological issue and I'm not saying that I'm an expert of it, quite the contrary. But I see that believing in god gives people the feeling of security that is a basic need for functional psyche. Non-believers have other methods to handle this need of security but in my opinion many people tend to cling to religion when they have troubled times or face a crisis. It gives them comfort to feel that they're not alone with their troubles.

Hmm, maybe I'll stop here before it gets too long and confusing  :-X

Offtopic / Re: Religion or whatever you believe in
« on: July 14, 2009, 09:12:56 PM »
I just must write something to this topic. I hope this ain't gonna be too long...

I've been atheist whole my life. Of course I didn't realize it when I was a child, but later on I've understood what those feelings were back then. I never got the point of prayers and never had the feeling that there's some invisible power or force that had created life and is guiding my life. Although I was raised Christian in principle, I have never believed in any of that stuff.

It was a bit of a shock to my family (well, mom) when I announced that I've seceded from the church (I did that as soon as it was possible without parents' permission). I encountered some prejudice, like I must be a satan worshipper since I seceded from the church. That's laughable. How could I believe in satan if I didn't believe in god o_O

Well, anygays, that's my story. I must admit that I also hold some prejudice against certain type of religious people and don't enjoy their company. I have quite harsh opinions about religion, but I'm not gonna get into those, because I don't want to offend anyone.

If I believe in some power, it's the power of nature. It's amazing how this complex system, universe, has come to exist. I know that in this point many would say it's an act of god. I think that human is just too simple to understand this vast system and its delicacy. And too arrogant to admit that it isn't the master of the universe. The thruth is that we are but tiny bits in our universe, not the centre of it.

Whoa, that did get a bit long. Sorry ^^

^ These camps aren't so bad. Although, it's been years (omg, over ten years) since I went to one. It's common Finnish rite of growing up, I don't know whether it's practiced elsewhere. It's mostly hanging out with mates, or at least it was for me :D (never believed in god or that stuff).

In the same breath, I cut my hair yesterday. It's a lot shorter that it was before and it feels strange but good. Really long hair has been part of my personality for ever. But one gotta have a change every now and then n____n

Right now I'm reading exam book "Culture and Everyday Life". It's interesting actually even though it's an exam book.

But when I get rid of this (that is tomorrow) I'm gonna continue Musashi by Yoshikawa Eiji. I recommed it for everyone. It contains many historical facts but mostly it's a "normal" novel. There's so many hilarious episodes and fluid dialogues. Once I read in a train and several times I had to burst into laughing out loud. The humor is so subtle, not forced at all.

I have 4 less teeth and metal brackets in my mouth? :D'' I can't eat, and whenever I try to drink it goes into the gaping tooth holes and makes them bleed again... Fun fun fun.

I had the same thing about two years ago. Got the braces off three or four months ago. It was hell from time to time but it was worth it. When I had four teeth removed, I got rice stuck in one hole. It didn't come out easily and had to be removed with tweezers. :D
