That all sounds like so much fun hahaha! I was supposed to go to Seattle but I was prevented due to deaths in the family. But I hope Hizumi gets better so they can tour in America again.
I actually went to the Taste of Chaos show in 2007 and it was awesome! D'espairsRay got the best reaction from the crowd out of the three JRock bands.

X JAPAN World Tour / Re: X Japan US Tour
« on: August 17, 2010, 07:48:59 PM »
I wish they would be coming to Europe instead but oh well, I hop this is going to be great. Are ticket prices always that high in the US? I was just checking the prices for their LA show and apparently tickets for the areana-thing are like 80$.
Well the LA tickets start at $39 (+fees, but I don't think they are over $10-$20)... I think that's pretty normal for jrock concerts (I've only been to Girugamesh and Versailles in Helsinki, and it was a bit cheaper I think)... I'm more worried about the Canadian show prices, but I guess a Canadian can comment on that a bit better...

Yeah I'm the same distance from Vancouver that I am from Seattle but I agree with the prices from Seattle more than Vancouver. It really shouldn't be that much since the Canadian Dollar is almost on par with the American dollar. In some places the Canadian dollar is actually MORE than the American here so...yeah I'm going to Seattle.

Well I'm most definatley going to try make the Seattle show. I'm so excited! I'll have to throw away Thirty Seconds To Mars, Avenged Sevenfold and Disturbed to do it but it will so be worth it! I can't believe they added Seattle! It's going to be awesome!

I've heard some pretty bad ones about Belgium before.
A Canadian friend of mine visited Belgium and when she went back home, this is what happened:
"That's a nice coat. Where'd you get it?"
"I bought it when I was in Belgium."
"What mall is that in?"

And another:
"I live in Belgium."
"Is that the capital of Brussels?"

My cousin has a friend from Belgium who she brought to a bbq and introduced once. And when she said he was from Belgium a friend of hers replied "Like the chocolate?"
lmao
I was dying to reply "No! Like the waffles!"

Yoshiki / Re: YOSHIKI mobile
« on: June 28, 2010, 06:32:29 AM »
Then, he asked Yoshiki "You did this, right?", and Yoshiki answered "I'm so sorry" with a smile, so he could say nothing anymore ( :D).

Of course, Yoshiki devoted himself to recording the next day as if nothing had happened ( :D).
The staff members were so busy with cleaning up the mess.

This made my day...he's so overdramatic lol!

Really? Okay then I think I'll look a little more into it.  I was under the impression it was some kind of vote but I guess I'm wrong. LOL this is what I get for reading at 3 in the morning...but I do have citizenship in US despite being from Canada so I was going to suggest them...or Miyavi

Is Yoshiki the only one that can speak english well in the band? I always thought that Sugizo could speak english. hide as well.
I mean, it's always been one of things I just automatically 'assumed' however never really looked into.
I've never heart Pata or Heath speak english...that is...when they do talk.
Toshi I'm just not to sure about.
But does anyone know how well the members (excluding Yoshiki) speak english?

Wait so...they get the most votes...they win the polll...and nothing then? Well let's just see what happens...not point in giving up before even trying. I mean really what kind of attitiude is that? No offense or anything. But it really seems like people have talked themselves out of it before even giving it a go...

You know come to think of it...this is one of those times you really wish hide were still alive...just to see him and Ellen go head to head. That would be some funny shit...

Deserae or Dezyre.
Not: Desire or Desiree or Desare or Desarae or Desirea or Deserea or Desirae.

I prefer: Dez

If X were to go on Ellen I'd think they'd play JADE or IV...which would be cool either way... who cares about what 'regular' music guests appear on the show.  If they were to do an song and an interview I still think that would be great western exposure whether or not anyone thinks they'd 'fit' on the show.

As a North American viewer who has seen the Ellen show I can say that X is NOT fit for this show. Predominant acts are yes, mainstream heavy hitters. The viewers generally aren't into artists that go beyond the easy listen. As great as X is with their ballads, I don't see them appealing to the viewing audience on ellen. All their ballads are quite heavy and will go against the usual upbeat tone of the show.

The general consensus of opinions would probably be "those guys dress weird", "the singer has a weird voice", "Who's the girl with the pink hair?" and "are they chinese?"
I WATCH ellen aswell and I wouldn't suggest them on he show if I didn't think it was a good idea.  Like I said I think they'd b really cute and I'm sure that Yoshiki is well aware of his lack of popularity in america....especially since he keeps talking about 'breaking into america' so a show like this would be great for the,m even if its just a performance. I mean if ppl like Ozzy and Slash can join her without breaking a sweat then X shouldn't have a problem...lets have a little faith in the band we claim to love so much

Excuse my ignorance, but what is the demographic viewership for The Ellen DeGeneres show? Judging from past musicians who have performed on the show, I don't think it would be the most suitable show for X.

I think they'd be horribly cute on Ellen...It'd be quite funny to see at the least...any exposure in the US is good exposure...even sextapes...
