The only advantage I see to the blu-rays is they're all on 1 disc instead of spread out over 3

I just got the 2 I ordered, I didn't think I'd get them on the first day in the US!
I haven't watched them yet but it does say 1080i 16x9 on the box, looks promising

EDIT: Well I put one in and its definitely not 1080i 16x9 ~_~
still 4:3 and not even that great quality. I was gonna compare it to my Art of Life DVD but I can't seem to find it
All in all probably not worth the $55 it cost :l

Wasn't Jealousy intended to be a 2 disc album, with the second disc being Art of Life? They could just do that :D

General chat / What X Japan needs to do to make it big in the US
« on: October 27, 2010, 03:40:20 PM »
As a huge fan of X, I'm concerned that they might not make it as big as we'd like them to.
One thing I know could help would be to get into Rock Band. I know I.V. is already there, but if they could get their entire new album into RB, it could help them reach out to new people. With the new keyboard instrument, X Japan's music is PERFECT for Rock Band 3 DLC. A lot of people will be attracted just because of the high difficulty some songs would have, then actually play the songs and (hopefully) fall in love.
Recently, Billy Joel got his people to contact Harmonix (Rock Band's developer) to put his music in the game. BAM he gets a 10 song pack. Apparently, these big name artists can get into the game at will; and Yoshiki is no small name.
Anyone else have some suggestions?

Am I the only one who likes it? Not everything these guys make have to be perfect ya know >.>
Anyways, we haven't even heard a recorded version yet. Stop complaining.
Also has anyone heard this? It sounds like an early recorded version, kinda like something you'd hear on a demo tape or Rose & Blood...

I was listening to this (the album version) a few hours ago for the billionth time when I noticed at the very beginning right before the "drums" come in someone counting to four. I can't make out who it is, but I can't believe it took me this long to hear that >.<
Has anyone else noticed this? It's really low, you gotta have your speakers up real loud to hear it...

Well, as I expected (and feared), I.V. will be the song in RB2 as one of the 20 free songs that come with the game. I kinda knew they were gonna pick it, but I was hopinh they'd be smarter and pick an older, better song. I doubt I.V. will be very difficult on any instrument (maybe drums, though this is obviously not Yoshiki's best drumming)
At least we get X!

General chat / Accurate guitar tabs
« on: August 06, 2008, 02:17:40 AM »
Where can I get some?
I was gonna get one of those band score books but they're ridiculously expensive...
Is there any other way to get some X tabs?

Thanks in advance :D
