Other Bands / Scars on Broadway
« on: July 21, 2008, 12:52:47 PM »
I was looking around for some live recordings of this particular band to listen to a few days ago instead of going to youtube or just listening to the two songs the band already released to the public when what should I find but the entire album? Despite fully intending to buy it when I have the money next month (honest!) I couldn't help but download it. I've listened to it three times already and have yet to tire of a single track. My favourite album of 2008 so far.

For those unaware, Scars on Broadway is the new band of System of a Down guitarist and vocalist Daron Malakian and drummer John Dolmayan.

hide / Psyence a Go Go
« on: March 26, 2008, 12:23:11 AM »
I apologise if I should have posted this in the previous thread about hide's live albums, but that one seemed to be more about letting people know hide live albums were being released. I was thinking about a month before this album was released "I sure wish there was a hide live album" and it seemed that someone at hide's lable heard my thoughts. Heh heh.

Aaaanywho, I heard this album yesterday and quite liked it. The future Spread Beaver continuing to play most of the time while hide talked to the crowd was a nice touch. And of course the performances of the songs were damn good too.

Anyone else hear this yet?
