The Last Live / Audience shot version?
« on: March 15, 2010, 06:01:01 PM »
Rumors (according to some trading sites) have it, that an audience shot version of this legendary concert exists, but sadly hasn't been released into trading or at least has not been traded widely.
I'm wondering if anyboy knows anything about this issue, especially if it actually exists and whether it is complete or not.

Offtopic / Diablo III
« on: July 03, 2008, 08:03:48 PM »
As we can see on http://www.gametrailers.com several video trailers have been published showcasing Diablo III gameplay.
Anybody as excited as me. The first Diablo was sooooooooo goood back then. It completely revived a dead genre (yes, rpg were almost dead back then)back then and introduced the action-rpg.
the trailers look really promising and I'm already ready for this one.
*post should be typo-free now*

Aoi Yoru/Shiroi Yoru / The violinist
« on: May 05, 2008, 03:53:53 PM »
During piano solo, when YOSHIKI is playing Amethyst, a female violinist appears on stage. I wonder who she is.
Does anybody know?

[MU]X Japan - I.V. Saw4-rip
This one is taken from the scene dvd-rip.
I guess this is the best until we get our hands on an untouched version of the PV.

Offtopic / Japanese Online Shop for rare/used DVDs
« on: December 03, 2007, 09:41:14 PM »
I'm desperately looking for some Japanese first press anime DVDs and was wondering if anybody here might know of an japanese online shop that is shipping those overseas.
What I'm looking for is not available anymore at the big retailers.

S.K.I.N. / Sugizo Interview on JrockRevolution
« on: October 11, 2007, 03:21:08 PM »
From reading the interview I get the feeling, that S.K.I.N. is still far from happening....
any thoughts?

What especially caught my intention is a possible longterm reunion of Luna Sea, since he called this band the last real Jrock band.

Aoi Yoru/Shiroi Yoru / Which live is better
« on: August 23, 2007, 11:20:59 AM »
Now here goes the big question. And the decision will be up to you all.
Vote for the live you like better.

We have a thread for Aoi Yoru fav. perf. so I thought I'd put one for Shiroi Yoru too.

So here goes:

My favorite Performance is X (Countdown 1994-95).
It is so much fun watching em messing around with the clock. What made me really smile was Toshi's explanation why YOSHIKI is going to do the countdown. He says "Yoshiki said that he were time" (Yoshiki wa ora ga jikan da to itte imashita.) Not to mention that it's always great to see the fans do the X *me doing that too infront of TV* and of course hide's screaming in the micro...such a great X performance...as always.

Since the DVD's have officially been released now, don't you think we'll need a thread for this one?

I still don't have much to say about those lives, since my DVD's haven't arrived yet (but shipped today :D) and I haven't watched the bootlegs.

Anyways, I think we'll soon have another live to talk about ^_^

Dahlia Tour / Dahlia Tour Final DVD
« on: May 12, 2007, 09:06:04 PM »
As far as I know (which is still to little, I guess) this might be the only concert that was released uncut on DVD. Can anybody tell me whether this is true. I know that TLL and VoD are cut.

On the Verge of Destruction / Missing on DVD
« on: May 12, 2007, 06:57:00 PM »
OK, here goes a little topic about what actually is missing on the live DVD.
We all know that the piano solo is cut. I have to admit, that I have never actuallyon found anything about a bootleg version that includes it.
What I didn't really know was the fact, that Rose of Pain is missing too. You_two is upping that on JPS and it was over there that I first found out about that.
Anybody know if there is anything else missing on the DVD?

Art of Life Live aka X Japan Returns / X Japan Returns - 93.12.31

X Japan Returns 93.12.31 Audio rip

I though you might wanted to listen to this. Sadly, I haven't yet found any vids of the other songs. I know that there must be a bootleg around, but it's too damn hard to find.
Anyways, enjoy :D

Dahlia Tour / Dahlia Tour 1995.12.31
« on: February 24, 2007, 11:49:05 AM »
I'm still wondering why this one never got an official release. It must have been on TV in 1998 though, together with all other lives. Nonetheless, I've only watched a bootleg with bad picture quality - the sound was ok, better than picture - but Endless Rain part was corrupt.

They've done some really great performance on this live.

Spolier warning:

Tears acoustic - Toshi and a harp
Say Anything acoustic - YOSHIKI and Toshi..even though its very short and looks like they didnt plan to play it that night.

Celebration - always fun to watch and listen to this one.. hide-chan, hide-chan, hide-chan

Joker - they actually mess it up...its funny to watch YOSHIKI and hide kill the song with simply staring at each other...maybe thats the reason why it never got released

oh and the clock...sooooo funny too
