X Japan related / D&D / Pathfinder commissions.
« on: March 29, 2022, 05:58:17 PM »
I was wondering if anyone knows of any business online accepting commissions for custom 3D printed tabletop gaming figures. I'm currently playing in 8 Pathfinder campaigns and GMing another one all with the same group and I actually have Heath as a cleric in one and Yoshiki as a sorcerer in another. I based them off the Clamp Rusty Nail music video. For those who also play I'm also running other characters in the game with Yoshiki since the group is only 3 people in the game including myself and the other characters i'm playing are a succubus and a female Elf summoner and Yoshiki just turned into a vampire. Roleplay can get very interesting if you do it right. Anyway I was looking for someone who can make figurines based on one or more of those traits. A vampire Yoshiki may be a bit difficult but not impossible considering he was a werewolf in the Jade Music Video and I think he has more of a vampire appearance than a werewolfs in my honest opinion. By the way. That wasn't a misspelling. Ever since I starting studying Japanese I've grown a distaste for reduncies and inconsistencies in the English language and in rebelion I have dropped the possessive apostrophe from my vocabulary meaning that the word "werewolf's" only means "werewolf is" and nothing else.

Offtopic / X-Japan Creepypasta.
« on: August 18, 2021, 11:53:37 AM »
May as well make a thread about this since Yoshiki is a big horror fan. That and one of my all time favorite creepypastas is not only a music based one but was around decades before creepypasta or the internet. Specifically the Paul Is Dead one. Not gonna lie. I could definitely see Yoshiki discovering Marble Hornets or Jeff The Killer and getting the band together for a new project just to forget about it next week. Who knows. Might have already happened and was met with shrugs or "not this again" groans. Then again they've had enough actual real horror to last a lifetime. Anyway if there any writers on this board that may be an idea something that's been missing for a while.

Toshi / Airport.
« on: June 01, 2021, 10:11:33 AM »
I just wondered if anyone knows where I could get the lyrics to the song Airport by Toshi? I tried to look them up in both English and Japanese but can't find anything and it seems Samurai Japan isn't for sale outside Japan anymore. If I can get the Japanese lyrics I can translate it here.

Edit: I just realized this might be better in the "Help" tab. Admins please move it if needed.

I'm pretty sure most here are familiar with the 2 reputations this title. That it has the most vile and extreme content you can imagine and that the story is so good that it makes the slog of getting through that content worth it. I've been terrified of looking at it for years but once I found out you could turn off the most graphic content and skip through the harsh parts I dove in and got hooked to where I'm halfway through and don't want to stop until I find all the answers. The only other stories that got me this invested that I can remember in recent memory are House Of Leaves and Toshis book. So yes it is definitely worth it but only if you know what you're getting into. The reason I bring it up here is it has one character who turns a school into a crime syndicate and can get away with murder as well as another character who starts an extra funky religion that teaches enlightenment through suffering. Now where have I heard that before? Also the game has 7 characters and X-Japan has 7 members.
