Merchandise / Re: X JAPAN THE LAST LIVE Complete Edition

I'm wondering why they are not releasing the last live on blu-ray. Is blu-ray not that popular in Japan?

At first I was a bit scared about what would become of this project. But now it seems that the character design is fortunately a bit different than the traditional marvel-style. Yoshiki is not too muscular ^^. Can't wait for the actual story. I hope it's not too cliché.

PS. ForeverFades, cool pic & mad skills.

The Finnish JaME says that Taiji's relatives decided to stop his life support after he was pronounced brain dead.

Albums/Singles / Re: scarlet love song
« on: June 01, 2011, 06:23:50 AM »
Yoshiki said on Twitter that Scarlet Love Song is currently #1 in Japan...

Which is confusing, given that it hasn't been released yet and having just checked the Oricon Charts X Japan are nowhere to be seen.

Yoshiki (seemingly) also had every tv and newspaper/magazine outlet in America last year state that X are the most successful rock band in Japan ever, which we all know is bs.

Also, who else besides me is getting annoyed with the new fan made scarlet love song remixes that are being put up on youtube, with little care for the fact that we're trying to find the real one? Look at the latest "scarlet love song" video uploaded on youtube, that title's rediculously misleading.

I dunno..I think he's got a good case in saying that about his band. I mean, 20-30 million albums sold, the amount of times they sold out Tokyo Dome. The hordes of people who went to the shows in Japan since reunion. I'm not sure about how popular many other genres are in Japan, but I think X Japan, especially during the 90's was THE rock band.

I think the all-time most popular / biggest Japanese rock band would be B'z. They have sold about 80 million albums.

X JAPAN World Tour / Re: The X-Train project - London to Paris
« on: April 21, 2011, 11:03:58 PM »
Slightly off-topic, but...

What kind of train connections there are between Paris and Berlin?
Maybe we could execute a similar project there too.
I´m not sure about trains, but why not going by bus, like BerlinienBus

Well... I just checked your suggestion. Price is 78€, and the total travel time is abour 12h.
I think I'll keep searching for better options, but thanks for the tip!

It seems there are now more tickets because they opened levels 2 and 3 as well.
I remember that earlier those levels weren't available yet.
When I ordered last friday, levels 2 and 3 weren't available for me.

Thousand thanks for sharing that info.
Now I'm finally able to get a ticket.

Nevertheless, I'll surely visit Germany and possibly France and UK too.

Hey Swankerme!

Do you still have the band scores available?
I would like to buy the Jealousy band score, if you still have it.

I live in Finland, so the postal fees might be quite high, but of course I will pay for them too.

Albums/Singles / Re: Vanishing Vision/Alive
« on: March 10, 2010, 07:04:59 PM »
As far as I know. No CDs from Vanishing Vision were made before 1989.
The LP came out in 1988 and 1st press of regular CD in 1989.

I now have the CD from 1989 (OBI unfortunately missing), and it looks like this (not my copy in the picture):

So the 2 things that look different in different versions are the CD itself and the back cover. Newer pressings don't have that grey X on the back cover. And the Red Circle/splash in the middle of the CD can be found only on the newer pressings.

Hope this clears things up...
