He sounds like he's got the little cold bug going around lately.

and the end... awwww... *hugs him*  It's okay

Ugh... Can I vomit now?

Masaya is just fucking disgusting.  So.. let me see... first he coaxes Toshi to sign away all his money, then tempts him into walking away from X... treats him as a marionette... then when Toshi wakes up and leaves... he does this?

Okay.. So he has adjustment disorder... it's just another branch of PTSD.  So.. Masaya...what the holy fuck did YOU do to Toshi to give him PTSD?

Yoshiki / Re: RUMOR: Prepare for the news about Yoshiki getting married
« on: January 24, 2010, 10:20:04 PM »
These rumors get very out of hand.  To me.. it's Yoshiki's business weather he marries someone or not.  If he doesn't want to make an official statement about it.. it's his business.  It's also his business if he is letting Toshi stay with him.

Oh... wow..... *thinly veiled sarcasm here*

Is it really our business if he has married or not?

Yoshiki / Re: Yoshiki in the top ten of Best Rock Drummers!
« on: January 21, 2010, 06:49:32 AM »
Oh Snap!  :(  I was hoping for a TopTen List paneled by his peers, not a popularity contest. Fan Top Tens are fun and fine, but I would love to see an international panel of drummers post their top ten, AND I would love to see Yoshiki make it, even at tenth. I have seen many drummers in concert and so far he is the only one for me, other than Rick Allan, who shows stamina and doesn't jam out five minutes into the solo. Nose dives after a quarter hour? Yes. Jams out? No. His footwork precision is amazing, and that I have from the mouths of drummers I have shown him to. After his neck injury, his upper body precision and 'creativity' suffered nominally. Pain can interfere with creativity and ability, but he is still amazing. I like to call him the kamikaze drummer. I just wish I could get an opinion from someone like Mikko Sirén of Apocalyptica, Lars Ulrich of Metallica or especially Def Leppard's Rick Allan. Sorry, not up on some of the more recent metal or concert drummers. Growing up it was always Buddy Rich for me and since then Yoshiki is the only other skin master to make me stop in my tracks, turn and look at the screen. His drumming stands out for me.

Thank you!  There are some very, very good drummers out there.  I'm glad that we all feel highly of Yoshiki, but I have to say as much as I like him.. and his style.. I prefer Roger Taylor (Queen), Phil Collins(Genesis), Rick Allen, Lars Ulrich's styles.

Ruka (Nightmare) is a good drummer.. and from what I understand.. Kami (malice mizer) was extraordinary.

Yoshiki / Re: A little Insight into Yoshiki the man.
« on: January 21, 2010, 06:43:49 AM »
I've actually watched that a few times.  I know at one point the interviewer asks questions about hide... some that were.. way, WAY insensitive. (something about how Yoshiki felt seeing hide's body in the casket)

It does show you a very intense and sensitive side to Yoshiki.

I would love just to give him a warm hug.

Toshi / Re: Some things we can all do to support Toshi
« on: January 21, 2010, 06:41:02 AM »
Spamming and trying to get certain pages shut down due to "TOS Violations" when said parties actually do own rights to the videos/music/ect won't accomplish much.

Boycotting said labels, sites, media..ect will.  I think it's a shame that this whole thing has gone down like it has but it has.  And I do believe that Yoshiki will be a force to be reckoned with if HoH, Wanku and Masaya try to claim rights to any more of Toshi's X royalties.

Toshi / Re: Toshi on the verge of divorce
« on: January 21, 2010, 06:35:45 AM »
How could Toshi have used her as a 'ladder' to reach success?  I thought that was achieved with X.

Either she's jealous and wants to gain sympathy for herself or she's as deluded as Masaya.

And in a way, it's very sickening.  I mean..they twisted his arm into signing over ALL of his income to HOH... then.. I just don't even get it.

I've kinda hid away for a bit.. but this recent news.. I'm kind of not shocked.

I'm glad he has Yoshiki in his corner.  I had a feeling that he'd never turn his back on Toshi.

Yoshiki / Re: YOSHIKI to undergo surgery on Monday‏
« on: August 05, 2009, 01:42:23 PM »
I'm not saying anyone is less of a fan because they seem to care less... what I want to stop is the ranting about lives.  Yoshiki had the surgery to help him.. to make it easier for him to live his daily life but also so maybe he can continue his carrer.

Yu~Kun.. I respect your opinion... and I think you understand what I'm trying to say.  I don't think anyone who thinks the lives should happen are lesser fans... I just think that at this time, it's rather callous.

Yoshiki / Re: YOSHIKI to undergo surgery on Monday‏
« on: August 04, 2009, 10:30:57 PM »
I read somewhere that Yoshiki is still paralyzed in his left hand/arm and is relying on a wheelchair because of difficulties in getting around.  At status quo, he's still having problems, probably slightly more than what he did before the surgery.

I don't think this really is the time to fight about anything.. especially bringing up lives... as that is where the heart of the bickering is.  I don't care if anything with X happens within the next year or not, depending on how Yoshiki is doing.  Right now.. he needs our support and our care to get through this, not our arguing.

Please... let's concentrate on praying for him to have a speedy recovery and proper healing.... okay ya'll?

I'm not going to comment on the last couple of posts myself, only out of respect to these fans here, even if I don't agree.

Anyway, for his health, with such a major operation, he will need alot of time to recover.

Of course fans might be disappointed, but they need to remember Yoshiki is not a machine, he is human like every one of us, and just like anybody else, if they have accident and can't work for many months, it is the same for Yoshiki.

Excellent point, ben.   Thanks! :-)

Michiko and Eos,  I have to say right now I agree with you.  I'm more concerned about him and him recovering.. I know this was a very serious surgery, and I pray that he is able to get much better.

I don't quite know what to say about certain things... but I do wish him a speedy recovery and I think I'll fix up a card to send him.

I'm trying to figure out what my reaction to this should be.
So far....I only get *facepalm* which I think is enough to summarize everything I'm feeling.

Your siggy says you're a Yoshiki fangirl.... somehow I doubt that

Yoshiki / Re: YOSHIKI to undergo surgery on Monday‏
« on: August 01, 2009, 01:30:44 AM »
I know this is my first post. I have been lurking a long time and only just joined (finally) but  I wanted to step in and say I was surprised by the dismissive comment made about Yoshiki being a Drama Queen. He has certainly had is moments, no doubt about it, but people respond differently, person to person, under anesthetic, (it makes some people violently ill and immobile for days) I know I have not had my spinal column exposed, the bones drilled or the nerves messed with, but I can imagine the level of pain such surgery might cause, because I have had nerve damage in my neck since birth. As well, since it is obvious, considering the level of work Yoshiki san has been involved in over the past year after a ten year hiatus, not just with X but with the orphanage in China as well as JRock Revolution and Yoshiki Mobile and meeting contractual obligations, perhaps the moniker of 'Drama Queen' in this particular situation is unfounded? *ducks the rotten tomatoes and raspberries* lol

Who.. would dare call him a drama queen? *hands out baseball bats*  How bout a game of T-Ball???

I think it's just sickening that people are STILL raving about lives being postponed/canceled, whatnot.

It's even more irritating that some here seem to think that this surgery and recovery is Yoshiki's idea of a 'vacation'.   I can think of ways that would be a hell of a lot better to take a break than having my cut open and bones and such worked on!!!!  Do you have any idea the level of pain he lives with on a daily basis?  That is one strong man there ladies and gentlemen, weather you believe it or not.  There are times he's on stage, smiling like nothing is bothering him.. and you know he's got to be in as much pain as a woman delivering a baby (without drugs).

Some of the members here are about to make me sick.  I'm glad for the precious few like Faestian and a few others who have the backbone to stand up for Yoshiki.  God knows most of you are still sitting in the basement!

Yoshiki / Re: YOSHIKI to undergo surgery on Monday‏
« on: August 01, 2009, 01:24:10 AM »
Well..come on now....you find it more likely for his injuries to be because of the 'falling' than to actually be from the way he's playing his instruments? I'm not saying one can't get injured while dramatically falling on stage but eh....in this case I think the way he's drumming screams clearly 'OMG....how come your head is still in its place'.
That and...haven't there been countless of reports and videos on how he got that neck injury anyway? Or do you not believe those?..:S

Anyway, I just wanted to post this:
http://headlines.yahoo.co.jp/hl?a=20090730-00000017-sanspo-ent

Okay... WE ALL know that he had the fall where he fractured bones in his neck.  There is quite a difference in a 'staged fall' and one that is totally unanticipated.  Rose, are you even a fan??? Do you have half a strand of heart fiber to give to this man or do you only care about what he can do for the fans?

All I've seen you blather on and on about is "lives, lives, lives...."

He will be back to his workaholic nature in no time! Give or take two or three months. Actually I think he is pretty worried himself, surgery is scary. I was scared too, of course I didn't realise that I was asleep until I woke up in recovery with a tube going down my throat. Talk about scary. Waking up to that. I panicked and then sleep caught up with me. But yeah, I think this isn't his first rodeo and that he'll recover eventually. So my prayers are with him.

And yes, I am critical about this sort of thing.  ;D

My love goes out to Yoshiki!

I know how you feel.  When I had my hysterectomy back in october.. it took me several months to be able to get around like I did before... and even now.. I still have minor issues... and I'm looking at another surgery in the next month or so...

It's a long process, and with selfish fans pressuring him, all he is going to do is try to deliver before he's ready.  Just back off you guys and let him recover at his body's pace.. NOT YOURS!

I'm really not trying to be a meanie, but as others have said, there are a lot of fans who are more concerned about shows being done than Yoshiki's health.  That isn't fair to him nor is it fair to the band.

Let see...so that means no concerts for all of August...meaning they have 4 months to preform....13 concerts that were announced at the start of the year....I am starting to think the lack of information from them recently is a good thing, it means they have less commitment to their fans....

Anyway, I don't believe that this surgery will affect the upcoming, twice rescheduled Paris concert.

Is that what Yoshiki means to you?  A few concerts?   Geesh.. I thought he ment more to his fans than that.

I would rather have Yoshiki healthy and able to perform the 'promised' concerts then for him to be in pain and barely able to.   but then again.. some people are selfish enough to want the shows with little regard to how the performer is.

Thanks Ryo-Ohki. That video was awesome.

No problem.. I saw it and thought  it would be good to share.  It just goes to show how deeply Michael's music affected us all.

Yoshiki / Re: Yoshiki's comment about MJ's death.
« on: July 01, 2009, 05:08:15 AM »
I remember reading about a meeting between MJ and Yoshiki a few years back, where MJ apparently took a liking to Yoshiki's tendonitis gloves and asked if he could have them. Yoshiki explained that they were "medical devices" but Jacko insisted that he wanted them, so in the end Yoshiki gave MJ the pair he was wearing.

You know, I'm gonna get flamed for this - but whenever I see interviews with Yoshiki his body language and how he speaks reminds me a lot of Michael Jackson. They both hold themselves in a very shy manner and speak very softly.

I wouldn't flame you.. no way...

They both are very shy, very talented.. and have enormous hearts for their fellow man.

It's just so sad to loose someone like that.   I was shocked and just... stunned.  I kinda had a bad week last week.. and was in a crisis center... and thought it was a mistake or joke.. I couldn't believe the news..... but.. it's true... and so sad

*wipes away tears*   This made me cry.  These inmates worked tirelessly on this tribute.. began the moment they learned of his death.

If we all just had the dedication and devotion for peace ... this world would be a much better place.

MJ was a true performer; looking back at videos from his younger days with the Jacksons and his later solo career it is clear to see how much energy he brought to each performance; dancing, singing and entertaining. He has inspired many of today’s artists, performers and musicians and for that we should all be truly thankful - regardless of whether you like his own music or not.

Exactly.  We don't get very many true performers anymore... and we've lost too many...

As far back as I can remember... I liked MJ's music...   Yeah.. a few crazy things happened to him.. and some people got psychotic about his fame..and had to have a chunk of it.

'pedophile' or not.. he was a very talented musician.

So.. if there are some who want to think me stupid for liking his music... then fine.. but remember this... I don't care how you see me... because it can very well be the same way you see yourself.
