I think he's calling for help again.

Taiji / Re: Why Taiji was fired by Yoshiki
« on: July 27, 2020, 08:26:50 PM »
I think it has a lot more to do with the known fact that some fans just idolize Yoshiki regardless of what he does, so it might be a  tad too difficult to digest what Taiji said about the past management of the band. It's a matter of acceptance more than of a 'mysterious secret truth'

Taiji / Re: Why Taiji was fired by Yoshiki
« on: July 26, 2020, 08:07:20 AM »
recently stumbled across this: https://ameblo.jp/xjapanxx/entry-10977113468.html

"In 1992, He left the band because, according to the official press release, he had “musical differences” with the group. However, in Taiji’s autobiography Uchuu o Kakeru Tomo e: Densetsu no Bando X no Sei to Shi he says that, in truth, he was asked to leave because he confronted Yoshiki about the substantial income gap between Yoshiki and the other band members"

that would also explain why Yoshiki was so secretive about it in "We are X"

thanks, I tried to access to that very page a while ago but it didn't seem to work, now it does.

Taiji / Re: Taiji's autobiography
« on: July 20, 2020, 07:45:16 PM »
Yoshiki recently posted a picture on IG to remember Taiji and the caption "even though we fought a lot, I miss you" made me think about the chapter from this autobiography where he almost predicts the downfall of X speaking about the harshness of being in a band together with him. Some things really come full circle in life...

Yoshiki / Re: Does Yoshiki like sweets?
« on: July 14, 2020, 10:18:29 AM »
I just had to google this, because i've never heard the term hyperthyroidism (Schilddrüsenüberfunktion in German). Well... I can hardly imagine him having this. But what do I know.  ;)

found the source: https://www.oricon.co.jp/news/80834/full/

Yoshiki / Re: Does Yoshiki like sweets?
« on: July 14, 2020, 08:22:26 AM »
I recall that I've read somewhere that Yoshiki might have hyperthyroidism (that would explain his extremely thin body type) and very often people who experience this condition need to eat frequently because of their heavy metabolism, especially sweet treats

« on: July 12, 2020, 11:30:33 AM »
let me guess: he'll put together a choir of those who have sent the video message and play along with drums as people sing.

Heath / Re: Why Heath no longer provides support vocals?
« on: July 08, 2020, 08:08:51 PM »
the simplest explanation is that X members (not the historical ones, of course) consider themselves musicians for hire and they feel like they belong less than ever to a band. (Not surprisingly...) So they feel like they're allowed to overlook minor details such as background vocals.

Pata / Re: Pata's Solo Career

released just a couple of days ago:

Offtopic / Re: So, is this forum dead now or something?
« on: July 07, 2020, 08:02:31 PM »
as for now, the only thing left to do is maybe getting Yoshiki's live streams translated in English.

« on: July 06, 2020, 05:32:16 AM »
ohh, here we go again. Another way to cover up for the lack of an album release...  ::)

Toshi / Re: Toshi on his YouTube channel eats Pudding. (New)
« on: June 05, 2020, 07:25:22 AM »
I would shoot him a message on IG to ask how he's getting along with Yoshiki, but I'm 100% sure that nobody would answer...

Yoshiki / Re: YOSHIKI Life of a japanese Rockstar - Trailer
« on: May 25, 2020, 07:00:06 PM »
Let's not forget THIS, shall we?

we should really ask the girl who auditioned as a drummer how did the whole deal end... She was surprisingly good

though judging from her Twitter profile she's currently in another band, so I guess that we already know.  8)

Yoshiki / Re: YOSHIKI Life of a japanese Rockstar - Trailer

just like many of us do, he launches dozens of projects but apparently only a lucky bunch of them finds the light of the day (mostly those which haven't anything to do with X)

he's just this way. He's scared of what the future of X might be, I think. But X already have no future if things keep going this way

Albums/Singles / Re: X JAPAN New Album(When??)
« on: May 24, 2020, 02:45:19 PM »

But there are rumors that Toshi and PATA are not in good terms. There was something at the "no audience gig" The "proof" is, that PATA is not following Toshi on Twitter... I have no idea. I just read it...

has anybody noticed that Pata doesn't follow any member from X on Instagram? Weird

Albums/Singles / Re: X JAPAN New Album(When??)
« on: May 22, 2020, 06:05:53 PM »
how are Yoshiki's relationships with the other band members? That alone could give some insight if this "news" has a bit of truth to it. Obviously he won't release a new album if Toshi, Pata, Sugizo and Heath are either busy or in bad terms with him

Yoshiki / Re: Yoshiki bored during corona crisis
« on: May 16, 2020, 08:23:58 PM »
he just opened a new IG profile for Yoshiki Channel https://www.instagram.com/yoshikichannelofficial/

apart from his classical live sets for a super-restricted audience, what is he doing music-wise in those days?

General chat / Re: X at its peak?

meanwhile, Yoshiki plays mind games to the next level trying to ignite a last, faint hope for X:

to be quite honest, even if this album sees the light of day in the next 50 years, it won't be half as successful as expected. I mean, he's right when he says that people have developed a sweet tooth for more electron-ish music and X are not marketable that much anymore. But when will things change?

thank you so much for the blog entries, when MySpace was still a thing I didn't get the chance to read all of the entries so now I'm happy I get the chance to.  8)

in case somebody wants to archive a permanent copy of Yoshiki's blog posts, https://archive.is can be used. So it will be available even if the website is not.

Yes I agree. I believe the only true friend he has is Toshi. He does seem to be unhappy, and his issues are unresolved. Some posts suggest hes putting it on as he is some heroine of a sad play. But who really knows... I would venture to guess from all that I have read, hes very giving and generous.  Thats an open invitation to get screwed. So he should get someone on his level and try not dating needie women. I do hope he is ok during this COVID ordeal we are all going through I'm in NYC :'(Its just too hard... I hope all of you are ok and staying healthy.

thanks, hope you're safe too. Where I live (Italy) we're doing a bit better every day even though Covid-19 stroke at its harshest in the very beginning of the pandemic in January; hopefully all of this can settle down in a couple of months.

As for Yoshiki, I know little about his dating habits. I just wish he could find some kind of long-time companionship besides the occasional supermodel and whatnot. Maybe even in love he's a perfectionist and heaven knows how many relationships derail because of unrealistic standards...

Yoshiki recently opened a new blog and he's giving English lessons.

he really enjoys every non-X Japan related activity   :D

Suggestions / Re: X freaks official translator team
« on: April 20, 2020, 05:08:14 AM »
yup, it would be cool (mainly because most news about X, Yoshiki & friends are in Japanese and they don't get officially translated from Western news sources)

Toshi / Re: Toshi is active again (on youtube)

Toshi is active everywhere:D

Yoshiki / Re: Yoshiki's mental health

I'm afraid that other than Toshi he's got no closer friends... And I often think that all of his caring (sometimes to the point of excess) about being constantly in touch with the fanbase literally stems from the need to compensate for the loneliness.

he's a generous person but he's alone, at least that's what I could sense from his social media presence.

thanks for sharing this gem, I've never seen Yoshiki that wasted before  ;D

oh my, he definitely should make a show about him just getting drunk with Toshi. That shouldn't be difficult to do, since he craves for red wine...  8)

One thing I always ask myself is how he can stand this constant mispronunciation of his name, lol.

however, he's always been awkwardly shy in interviews so it doesn't surprise at all if he's not answering properly.

who knows how many other concerts/VHSs we're missing.
X Japan equation: number of bootleg video/audio recordings > CDs/DVDs from their official discography  ;D

apparently it's a super rare VHS. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CXROT2L7-K8

Toshi / Re: Toshi is active again (on youtube)
« on: April 12, 2020, 07:01:27 AM »
he gradually became the opposite of Yoshiki (luckily). He has an active blog, an active social media presence, he constantly puts out new music...
