Forum Games / Re: Random facts about you

I have Asperger’s Syndrome, which makes social interactions and picking up social cues difficult. It’s much better now than when I was younger, but I’m still an awkward bean.

Fantext / Should I share my fan-fic here?
« on: February 15, 2018, 06:59:43 PM »
So, I started writing this fic near the end of last year, and I was wondering if I could share it here?
It's called 'The Odd One Out', and it's a self-insert fic (because I have no self control).

I'll post the first chapter here if I'm given the 'ok' to do so.

Personally, I don't really care much for the English version of Kurenai. The lyrics don't make a whole lot of sense. Yoshiki might have to tweak the lyrics if they want to have it in English on the new album.

I'm neutral on Drain. Granted, I haven't listened to it much.
Maybe it'll grow on me after awhile.

Yoshiki / Re: Yoshiki's mental health
« on: February 15, 2018, 05:13:54 PM »
Ah, maybe I'm worrying too much then. Bad habit of mine.

Some of the things he does make me think "dude, what are you doing? that can't be healthy."
Especially the lack of sleep. I know he has a busy guy with an insane schedule to keep, but he really should sleep more than he does. Among other things, lack of sleep could potentially lead to heart problems. Like you said, he most likely does eat right and exercise, which could reduce the risk of something like that happening. But still, it worries me.

Yoshiki / Re: Yoshiki's mental health

I personally don't think he has Munchausens (I've heard that Hizaki from Versailles is a great example though). It just doesn't seem like he's faking anything, in my opinion. That being said, he is very self destructive and that does legitimately worry me. He did an interview with a UK magazine (I don't know the name, just saw an image of the interview page) and he pretty much said that he stopped taking his medication. You just…don't do that. That could seriously effect your health!

I can agree that his mom is very enabling and that may have had an effect on him too. She kinda spoiled him. I guess that's why he gets pissed when things don't go exactly the way he wants.
In all honesty, he's a bit of a brat.

Now if he really does want to start a family of his own, he's really going to have to get his butt in gear and start taking better care of himself. If you can't take care of yourself, then you aren't ready to raise a child. That's how I see it.

General chat / Re: You know you're addicted to X, when...
« on: February 05, 2018, 04:56:50 PM »
Oh! I've got a couple!

You know you're addicted to X when:

- You insist on having your hair dyed pink

- You attempt to convert your friends to the fandom

- You add X Japan examples to appropriate TV Tropes pages

- You start writing fanfiction

I've done all of these.

Poor Toshi; Yoshiki keeps antagonizing him with the shrimp XD
But in all seriousness, does Toshi not like shrimp? Or was he just being silly?

Toshi / Re: Toshi's cover of Hotel California
« on: January 16, 2018, 02:25:24 AM »
I guess it depends on what country we're in.  This appears to be the same as lakeisle posted but it may be video, too.  I get an error on both of them that it's blocked in my country, USA, by the same company on both videos.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sN1WGi6fTlk&list=PLUVCbeb8J7ezxBYj0Dsqxnpmvb9Ck4Nqn&index=4

I'm in the US too, so I can't see it either.
It may be a stretch, but maybe it's on dailymotion? Wouldn't hurt to look, tbh.

Toshi / Toshi's cover of Hotel California
« on: January 15, 2018, 01:21:28 AM »
So, I heard that Toshi did a cover of 'Hotel California' by The Eagles back in the early 90's.
I really want to hear his version of it, but it's just about impossible to find. Well, for me anyway. There were two videos on YouTube, but they were removed due to copyright issues. I really have no idea where to go from here, and if anyone can help me find it I will greatly appreciate it.

@Teemeah

Oh! Thank you for clearing that up. I guess I should double check my facts next time.
But you do make an interesting point. They toned down their look because Toshi turned down his own.

When he had some makeup on, he did have a flawless face or at least to me.  I don't care for most men that some women find attractive - the hunk, hulking kind.  I like shorter, slimmer men with pretty faces.

I think he was just so lovely.

To me, this is an image of perfection.  That's just me but my God, how lovely he was.

I feel the same way  :)

Yoshiki / Re: Yoshiki's hair
« on: January 14, 2018, 04:36:28 PM »
I liked it when he had his hair long, but I like his current style too.
I think the reason why he cut it was because it was too heavy on his neck after he, you know, broke it. Plus, I think it's easier to manage when short.

Toshi / Re: Pictures without glasses
« on: January 14, 2018, 02:50:03 AM »
Part of me thinks that he may have suffered some sort of facial injury while he was with HoH and he wants to hide any scars he may have.
On the other hand, it may just be a fashion choice and he likes the look. The only one who has the answer is Toshi himself.

Thank you so much for translating this!
I've been having a devil of a time trying to find an English translation for that clip.

I'm not sure if you've found what you're looking for yet, but I found a few listings on ebay. Some of them are really pricey, though.

Here are the listing I found.
