The Concerts / Re: X Japan 2017 World Tour - Acoustic Special
« on: July 20, 2017, 04:01:57 PM »
Went to the concert on 7/17. It was awesome!!! Toshl was in his best condition, almost like he was back to his prime (for me, it was 91 to 96).

This isn't April's Fools is it...

As usual, take anything Yoshiki said about the new album with a grain of salt  ;)
Still waiting for someone to share the recording of the interview.
Fanacc on Twitter also said that The Last Song and Art of Life will be included... What?!

X Japan set to release new album in June
https://www.barks.jp/news/?id=1000140364#utm_source=tw_BARKS_NEWS&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=tw_auto

According to some accounts on Twitter, Yoshiki mentioned the release date being 30th June on his Yoshiki Channel live broadcast (happening right at this moment). There will be 13 songs.

Rejoice!

The Concerts / Re: London Concert 2017, anyone?

Watched the live broadcast, it was amazing! The camera angles and all that. Love that it opens with Rusty Nail and ends with Art of Life. Haven't been too fond of their new songs but they all sounded good in this concert, especially Beneath The Skin. Say Anything was a pleasant surprise (all thanks to Toshl, LOL)

Xplosion posted the official setlist on Twitter.

The cameras focused on the audiences half the time, wonder if anyone of you were filmed  ;D

Must not think twice going to their concert given the chance next time.

But the version they're showing at the concert is shorter than the normal version, isn't it? Makes you think that by "deleted scenes" they mean that they deleted some scenes  :P I'm mainly going tomorrow for the Q&A - who would miss the opportunity to actually see Yoshiki give the same answers to the same questions  ;D

Coming soon & I promise, same old answers ;D  I'd love to know if Amethyst will be included in the new album. That's the only VUK song Toshl hasn't sung, no?

Did you notice they stopped announcing the album release on the concert?

According to Yoshiki at the Metal Hammer Facebook Live Q&A, it's not done yet.

So unexpected. /s

10 years is not enough for Yoshiki to record an album while he is too busy inflating his ego.

A new album after 21 years - enough time to raise a child & send him/her to college! Several months more? No big deal. ::)

Thought La Venus was mediocre but I changed my mind now.

Got a little teary-eyed all thanks to Toshl's emotionally gripping high notes! :-[   Luckily no one's around...

They are going to perform La Venus on Music Station tonight, it's been 21 years since their last appearance on the regular broadcast of MSta (not super live), can't wait.

Have faith that the show's going to happen.  ;D

Also, there's a lucky draw. What a late notice but why not.

Help / Re: Nico Nico Paid Channel
« on: February 17, 2017, 07:48:37 AM »
The PayPal option is only available for subscription to NicoNico Premium now.

Read through NicoNico's website. It seems they changed to the policy to bar channel subscription payment through WebMoney or NicoNico Points (can be purchased through international CC). Oh well.

The VIP package is definitely going to cost more than £299.00  if there's a meet & greet  ;D

Film: 6:00pm - Exclusive 60-minute Cut of "We Are X" with Deleted Scenes

Deleted Scenes. Interesting.

Wonder if they will do a preview of the NEW songs on the 'new' album, or recording the audience sining KTS again (since the album is 90% done there's room for more).

This concert is not sold out yet so I have been thinking of attending & visiting London on the side, but I can't take a leave from work. Real life priorities ::)

Help / Nico Nico Paid Channel

Anyone here managed to subscribe to NicoNico's paid channel with a non-Japanese credit card?

Thank goodness for PayPal (Japan) so getting a Premium account is easy now (Toshl here I come~!). I will never understand the exclusivity with Japanese-issued cards  ???

Yoshiki forever saying the album's 90% done. ::)
Hopefully there will be good news at Wembley or sooner.
