does anybody remember when Yoshiki asked  us to sing Endless Rain and send the video clips?

I guess he called it quits even on that project?  ???
Yes I remember and I asked myself the same question a few days ago. Let's see if we will ever hear of that project again.

I'm always wondering what is Heath doing all day. He keeps so quiet...

I checked the Japanese Wiki voice about him, nothing new. Did the same with the official website, same result.  :o

is he ghostwriting songs or performing with another stage name?
I swear pretty much noone knows what he is up to. It's almost like... he disappeared.

He basically says he's waiting for the right time and how it's tough when you cannot do a live right now. It's exactly as I said. Yoshiki thinks some magical moment will come by when the American music scene is waiting for him and he'll make a splash. That was 2010 but you fucked around for a decade. Honestly, just release the album and schedule some tour dates when COVID has calmed down a lot, give some banger performances and call it a day.
AMEN to that.

Oh and big thanks to Ekapri for doing this an trying to keep us all up to date. :)

Yoshiki / Re: Does Yoshiki like sweets?

I just had to google this, because i've never heard the term hyperthyroidism (Schilddrüsenüberfunktion in German). Well... I can hardly imagine him having this. But what do I know.  ;)

found the source: https://www.oricon.co.jp/news/80834/full/

Oh no... sounds pretty serious.

Yoshiki / Re: Does Yoshiki like sweets?
« on: July 14, 2020, 09:33:45 AM »
I recall that I've read somewhere that Yoshiki might have hyperthyroidism (that would explain his extremely thin body type) and very often people who experience this condition need to eat frequently because of their heavy metabolism, especially sweet treats

I think it is good that you have no expectations for that new album ever to appear.  :D I used to hope for the release every now and then and that hope was pretty pointless.  :-\

Heath / Re: Why Heath no longer provides support vocals?
« on: July 08, 2020, 10:44:32 PM »
the simplest explanation is that X members (not the historical ones, of course) consider themselves musicians for hire and they feel like they belong less than ever to a band. (Not surprisingly...) So they feel like they're allowed to overlook minor details such as background vocals.
It wouldn't surprise me.

Offtopic / Re: So, is this forum dead now or something?
« on: July 07, 2020, 09:34:33 AM »
We live in sad times. The band is reunited but still dead and the fans (the few who are still there and the occasionally new ones that appear) try to keep the fandom alive.

Albums/Singles / Re: X JAPAN New Album(When??)

Yoshiki is teasing us with the term "new album" and the word "soon" again: https://twitter.com/YoshikiOfficial/status/1263470925271437312?s=19

He must be joking, right?

General chat / Re: X at its peak?
« on: May 10, 2020, 11:55:17 AM »
meanwhile, Yoshiki plays mind games to the next level trying to ignite a last, faint hope for X:

to be quite honest, even if this album sees the light of day in the next 50 years, it won't be half as successful as expected. I mean, he's right when he says that people have developed a sweet tooth for more electron-ish music and X are not marketable that much anymore. But when will things change?
Argh this tweet. He was really trying to troll us here. Why does he do that with his fans feelings?

A big THX at returner for trying to save all the blog posts for us!  :)

I would agree that their peak was around Jelousy-Release. After that everything started falling apart.

Oh I gotta check this out! Thx!  :D

Yoshiki / Re: Yoshiki bored during corona crisis
« on: April 16, 2020, 07:07:43 PM »
Anyway, I think it's kind of awesome that he got interviewed by BBC. It's nice that he donated the money to the good cause.
Completely agree.  :)

This interview was... kinda weird. I get what he is saying, but is it just me or is he kind of not answering her questions?

What's about Yoshikis LiveJournal?

Is that...? Is that really his journal?  ???

Toshi / Re: Toshi is active again (on youtube)
« on: April 11, 2020, 04:08:05 PM »
You forgot this one:

I really love how Toshi puts a smile on my face with such a nice little gesture. <3 It is a simple thing to do. To just sit down and record one or two songs on the camera for ALL his fans (not just the paying ones) and give everyone some courage. <3

I almost forgot about it. I wonder if Yoshiki forgot too...

Toshi / Re: Toshi's new song - "Be All Right"
« on: April 03, 2020, 11:31:30 PM »
It sounds like some cheesy japanese pop song, but I like it.  ;D

Toshi is cute in the video footage you posted.

Edit: Looks like it's the song for this TV series, nb.

Yoshiki / Yoshiki bored during corona crisis

Yoshiki is doing music. He must be very bored.  ;)

Aaaand i missed it. Was it good? Because that sounds like he had a very intresting guest there.

General chat / Re: X Japan : On the verge of destruction, AGAIN
« on: February 27, 2020, 02:42:29 PM »
Did some digging here and there. X getting together is highly unlikely tbh. Signs say that Toshi is mad about the contract system, the red swan incident , lunatic fest incident and the whole "Yoshiki is X and he is everything" system. If all of these aren't resolved they won't get back together
Sounds bad. If that's true they're never getting back together.

Also... Yoshiki wrote on Twitter:
The memory of XJapan #NoAudienceLive revives.. Someday we will return for our fans.

Makes me wonder what he thinks how many comebacks a band this old can have...

Yoshiki has a profile on Weibo too https://www.weibo.com/yoshikixjapan

though it's basically a repost of what he mentions in other social media.

Thanks for mentioning! Will add it to the list.  :)

Pata has an official YouTube channel, too! Added it to the list. Now go follow our favourite cat lover: Pata

If Toshi wants more money.... won't it be better to release the album sooner when the people still want to buy it?
Yes, most definetly. But Yoshiki seems to not even want to talk about that album anymore.

If I were in this band I would be pissed off. So it doesn't really surprise that X is destroying itself again.

General chat / Re: X Japan : On the verge of destruction, AGAIN
« on: January 05, 2020, 05:38:17 PM »
I don't know what but something is off about this band. Maybe it's just time to say goodbye already.

I cannot imagine Toshi and Pata to be fighting to be honest. And that there is nothing X-related on Toshis social media anymore isn't proof for anything imo. And not taking pictures with other X members? Well I guess that means Sugizo isn't part of X anymore?  ;)
Social Media can't proof these things. It's just a facade and I wouldn't believe anything that fans speculate because of it. Noone of us knows 100% what is happening.

But still sad to see this band break apart for whatever reason there might be.
