The first thing came to my mind was: That red lips!  ;D

General chat / Re: Will X return?

And here I just discovered X a few months ago. How disappointing :/

welcome.......  I am pleased that we still get new fans from time to time, although X is not doing anything since a long period of time.
I am sorry for your disappointment, take it from someone (me) that have lived through their disband and reunion and now this dying stage - There are so many good J-rock bands/singers out there,
you will be quite busy trying to discover them.

No.... I don't think they will return. I think they have missed the best timing. What a pity.

We will never understand Yoshiki.  8)
He have so many plans and talk so much. At the end nothing is going to happen.  ;D

Yoshiki / Re: Disney MY MUSIC STORY: YOSHIKI
« on: February 17, 2021, 08:32:28 PM »
I think you didn't miss much for not understanding the Japanese nor the Chinese substitute.
What Yoshiki talked about was more or less the same - about his childhood, how sick he was, how he got the piano from his parents, how his father's suicide affected him, how the classical music influenced him, how he formed the band, how he got the band members, how he bought the studio in L.A.,  how hide's death affected him.....etc.  Actually more or less the same thing you can watch from that X movie.

That's cool. I hope the weather won't be too hot this summer,  otherwise the guitar will melt.  ::)

I like the video because of the beautiful natural views.

General chat / Re: What X song are you listening to?

Wow.... these are super old songs. No idea why they didn't put them on an album.

Liliah, if you have time, just check this forum, we talked about X quite a lot back in the day. If you want to discuss anything or tell us your opinion, just reply to that thread.
Although I don't think there will be a lot of reply then...

The thing is,
We here at xfreaks have often been branded as bullies in the past. Many of us have been X Japan fans for ages and therefore wait a lot longer for the album than others. Some here have been following the band for over 30 years. Hard to believe, but that's how it is!

I am glad that others now understand us too.

Well said.   ;) ;)

Yoshiki / Re: Why hasn't Yoshiki released a new album?
« on: October 16, 2020, 12:51:47 PM »
I want to know what X fans from Japan think about this, whether they are upset or don't care anymore

judging from the outpouring of love emoticons that comes with each tweet from them, they'd be willing to wait until the Sun implodes.  :( Not pleasant

I think the fans from Japan are just more or less like us. Only those die hard fans care to 'liked' every single tweet from Yoshiki.  A very big part of the fans just don't care to even read his tweet.

Thanks for the video. After watching him talked over 4 mins, still have no idea what he has been talking about. LOL

It's safe to say that this thread is more active than the band. LOL  ;D

 ;D ;D ;D. yes, you are right.
I don't know what to say regarding the band. Actually, I don't care much one way or the other.
Anyhow, I check this forum a few times per weeks to see if there's anything 'new'.

General chat / Re: RIP X JAPAN
« on: May 20, 2020, 10:14:24 AM »
I can totally understand you. Being a X fan since almost 30 years, I have the feeling that we have been 'played' by them ever since.
Anyhow, I am not a fan girl, I like their music, like the energy at their concerts. If they will release a new song, I will listen. If they will have a concert, I will try to go and scream a little but. But that's all.
I don't have much hope for anything, then I won't be disappointed.

Oh..... it was really nice. I remember watching it once many many many years ago. Thanks for bringing it back to me!  ;)

General chat / Re: X at its peak?
« on: May 01, 2020, 10:48:16 AM »
I love Taiji bass from the start i can hear it loud & clear, sorry Heath 😊. Pata is running around and with good combo with hide,Yoshiki is focus on his drum & headbanging. This is one of their best performance. Maybe send this video to yoshiki to remind him what kind of band is X Japan.

But, we should not forget the concert was almost 30 yaers ago, they were all much younger...... LOL

General chat / Re: X at its peak?
« on: April 30, 2020, 08:58:06 PM »
Yes, you are right,  It was an excellent performance.
I also think that their peak was around the Jealousy time. Back then, Toshi's voice was much more powerful.

Yoshiki / Re: Yoshiki bored during corona crisis
« on: April 15, 2020, 09:19:15 PM »
Yes..... I also think that the interview is kind of weird.
Anyway, I think it's kind of awesome that he got interviewed by BBC. It's nice that he donated the money to the good cause.
It's GOOD to know that us fans are #VERY IMPORTANT# to him.

I don't think that this project will see the light of the day soon either, lol. Yoshiki has this habit to switch from one goal to another in a matter of days

So True.  LOL
