It's been a while since anyone has posted, but im curious.

is this just an announcement about an announcement or does anyone know anything? Other fan pages are saying something about the album but also about how X might have disbanded again because toshi and yoshiki weren't in contact?
But it says it's a serious announcement so i wonder if something is wrong?
What do you guys think?

Yeah saw that on Yoshi's Insta. Probably another Classical world tour announcement or if we are lucky enough it's probably about the album. Idk why but album release vibes are strong in this one lol
As far as disbanding is concerned, it's a big nope. But I doubt if they will last another 10 years

I was thinking the same thing but if it was about the album wouldn't be posted on the X band socials? I have no idea but if it isn't about an album and is another classical tour announcement im gonna pull my hair out lol

Sounds like a Yoshiki-only announcement, otherwise it would mention X Japan or be posted on X Japan's page.
Anyway, fingers crossed it's cool stuff! 8)

OMG "yeeeeeet" made me laugh so hard. I saw a bit of one of the recent Yoshiki Channel broadcasts where Yoshiki was talking about how if he decided not to put Red Swan on the record, the record was done. The people in the room with him gasped. With that and this announcement, I really have my fingers crossed for the new album... but I know Yoshiki is a sadist, so I ain't gettin' hopes THAT high.

Like i said in the chat , i've been an X fan going on 3 years (? i think) and they announced the album when I wasn't even a teenager yet and now i got bills of my own. ITS ABOUT DAMN TIME. I can only imagine how OG fans feel.

I was probably a 5th grader when I first got to know that an album is on the way. Now I am have just 2 years left to complete the college. It has been a long while :-\
Tbh yoshiki completely destroyed my belief that japanese people are generally sincere and hate pushing deadlines and stuff.

I don't think you should feel this way about Japanese People. Most of them are still like that and very professional. Yoshiki is now more an American than a Japanese with all that L.A. ideas and mentality that he has stuck in him. Or else he wouldn't even want to be mainstream like all those shitty pop artists, and instead would just release and make music because he enjoys it. Like most Japanese artists do.

Well, after that "announcement" this morning I am confirmed in my belief that he either really IS a sadist and really, really likes messing with fans, or he is completely out of control of his future and situation, which I can't imagine. He apologized a lot but jeez, what a mess. Luckily for him, his fans continue to forgive him no matter what happens... and that includes me, for now at least.

The news, or lack thereof, today has further substantiated my "RIP X JAPAN" thread. Yoshiki is beyond trustworthy at this point and it's extremely upsetting and embarrassing. I have never seen such a disgusting amount of lies and misleading of a fan base in any genre of music before.

Does anyone know where he lives in LA. I will gladly throw a bottle of very cheap wine to his bedroom. This guy deserves a rude awakening that fans are NOT AT ALL PLEASED.

The news, or lack thereof, today has further substantiated my "RIP X JAPAN" thread. Yoshiki is beyond trustworthy at this point and it's extremely upsetting and embarrassing. I have never seen such a disgusting amount of lies and misleading of a fan base in any genre of music before.
While I still really really want to see them live and love their music, this kind of nonsense from Yoshiki has really tarnished the band's name for so many of my friends that it makes me want to cry. I don't know if he's just super needy and self-absorbed, super unlucky or super misguided, but the lighthearted way he inflicts the damage he is doing to the actual legacy of his fucking amazing band really makes me wonder is he's not just super crazy.
I'm sure other countries and cultures feel differently, and it seems like his Japanese fans are largely behind him no matter what he does, but Americans don't seem to play these drama games - at least not serious fans of music.
I'm a fairly new fan with a lot of hope for X's success with the American audience - at least hoping the past releases will develop a bigger cult following - but he's well on the way to making them a laughing stock in the circles of music business folks I run in. It's heartbreaking.
Even if the non-announcement was not a planned thing, how shitty is his staff if they let him set up this big announcement without a true confirmation from all parties? Yoshiki has the power. Heads should roll. Sheesh.
Sorry, I needed to vent.
