do any of their songs make you cry? they don't have to just be by x, they can be by any of the members or solo projects as well. for me, it's forever love, tears, and good-bye by hide. sorry if this is in the wrong section!

Speaking of Longing ... and, this is really the reason I'm posting :) .... I'm trying to find a You Tube of "Longing" where all the band members are wearing white. hide looks particularly beautiful with a long white wig. I cannot find it at all. Does anyone have any idea how I can find it?

Well, I'm waiting for the studio version of "Without You" myself with Toshi's singing, it's a very nice and sad melody and Toshi's voice works well with it

Without you. Also, forever love from the last live. Yoshiki collapses, and it's really overdramatic, but the rest of the band seems genuinely heartbroken too, and it's just so hard to watch...

The first time I watched The Last Live DVD from beginning to end, I cried during Endless Rain.

I'm not someone who cries easily, not with songs, unless I feel truly identified with it.
But I have to say, when I first watched Art of Live Live DVD I had a very strange feeling, the classical knot in the throat....I was just awed at it (and at that time I didn't liked X much...Art of Life made me love them)
And, lately, Tears makes me feel the same way too...my boyfriend goes living abroad for two years. Since Tears is about someone who left you, well....I'm pretty sad, and Tears makes me sadder....sad, but with a nice feeling of satisfaction...or something....I know it's akward.

I ashamed to admit I got kind of teary when I first heard Blue Blood, because I was so amazed by it.

Me too, I don't cry easily, there are really rare the occasions that I cry while listening to a song.
But I have to admit, Forever Love, especially The Last Live version, brings tears to my eyes (ok, ok, I don't really listen it because I can't stop crying >.< ). That happens every single time I listen to the song. I think it's because around the end Toshi's voice is really tearful and when I think that it was sung at the hide funeral, I simply can't stop.
Others would be Tears, The Last Song and Endless Rain, but usually they only make me sadder, only sometimes they really make me cry.

Endless Rain... usually on the last verse when Toshi sings "until I can forget your love" I almost break into tears.

Endless Rain. Ever since seeing them live, I can't NOT cry. I was bawwing like such a baby when I saw them XD; but singing along with Toshi was the best memory for me.

The last live version of Forever Love. I fought not to cry and I'm not one to cry easily.
I usually just get melancholic.

Tears, Crucify My Love, Unfinished and almost all the live of the ballads... I cried easily.
Endless Rain. Always have tears after I saw them live last year. The most memorable and touching moment that night.
Longing and Endless Rain - Last Live were the hardest to watch for me.

I regret what I complained about post-reunion songs. I used to say I don't like all of the new songs, but the other day, I literally cried listening to Jade and reading the lyrics. I've always thought that "Tears" is the saddest song, but I've never cried listening to it. Besides, I've never cried listening to other music in my life. I'm a very dry person. But Jade made me cry.

It's interesting how songs make us feel differently. I always get pumped up when I listen to Jade, it's one of my workout songs.
I cried like a baby during the Last Live ballads Endless Rain, Last Song and Longing. Without You often makes me cry. It's just sung so beautifully.

Most definitely Tears which is a favorite of mine. It makes me cry for reasons other than X or members of X or members of X who are no longer with us but something totally different. But I love it very much and I love Toshi's voice in this song. He is just outstanding beyond words as far as I am concerned.

Jade... absolutely irresistible... but also LA Venus... under this point of view I.V. is also powerful... it also push me forward, like Jade... to me they are somehow "two-sided" songs...

Interesting topic. I don't cry much, but Crucify My Love and the Last Song kind of hit me in the feels everytime.

For me it's 'Tears', specially the live version after the reunion, the part where Yoshiki used to say 'Someday I'm gonna be older than you' now he says 'Now I'm older than you'. Gets me every time.
Another ones would be 'Without You' and 'Forever Love' (actually most of their ballads).
