What was the last movie you saw? (in cinema/on tv/on DVD) Instead of just posting the titles (which you are free to do) you could also rate the movie or write your opinion on it or something.
I just finished watching "Hero" (not the Jet Li one), great gangster movie (actually I've seen many gangster movies lately...De Niro could have something to do with that ;D)

(click here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gkfl_0_BhEo) if the video above isn't working)
Takeshi Kaneshiro and Yuen Biao play triade bosses. There are some amazing fighting scenes and the end is just sad :/
-
The last movie as saw is "Bienvenue chez les chti" !
-
The Chronicles of Riddick
-
the last one I saw is NANA
-
I had a moviefest last night and the last one watched was Dark City. Which is seriously awesome. I love dystopian movies! And I loved the visual style.
-
Dunya & Desie in Marokko
-
Dog Day Afternoon
<3
Now I've finally seen it, loved Al in it, need to see more (hopefully Serpico or Scarface). And lol @ mini appearance by Lance Henriksen...he started to look better with age tbh, his voice didn't sound as deep in the movie, either.
-
Rocknrolla. I liked Lock stock and my boyfriend wanted to go and see it so I got dragged along. It's better than I thought it would be and had pretty man from Sweeney Todd in it for one little scene. I'm planning on going to see The boy in the striped pajamas next but it will probably end up making me cry:(

A friend and I watched it together, and my conclusion is: it's a fun movie, but not really...... my kind of movies.
It made too much sense! I hate it when movies make sense.

I absolutely LOVE Dark City!!! Wasn't it great? And Wachowski stole a lot of stuff from this film for Matrix... ><
-
Dark City is pretty cool and I'm really considering buying the Directors Cut.
Last movie I saw ... Aeon Sucks ... oh I mean ... Aeon Flux ... hm, what can I say? It sucked big time, the only good thing was to see Charlize Theron in spandex, but that's not enough *g*
-
The last movies ...
Interview with the vampire xD
Corpse Bride
Lord of the Rings - the return of the king
(Best about the vampire-movie ... the guys. omfg. XD *long hair fetish* *almost got an orgasm when brad pitt and antonio banderas got close* XD Ok, when Armand first appeared, i already was like "OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG HELL YEAH!" xDD; )
-
::) 8) He looks nothing like Armand should.
-
My boyfriend told me, too. But ... WHO CARES? XD
(Same about the Phantom of the Opera (04). But damn, he's hot. It's a different interpretation. I'm fine with it. Absolutely xD)
-
I would have to pick one I hadn't seen a few hundred times.. and go with Tokyo Godfathers.
-
Falling In Love
This has to be the most adorable movie I've ever seen. I'm not really into romantic movies that much but this one had me awwing and giggling all the way through. De Niro and Streep are seriously cute in their shyness and awkwardness, it comes off naturally. And, I've never seen Robert smile THAT much in any other movie ;D

That' the end, don't watch it if...oh hell, watch it.
-
Ooh, I want to see that!
I just came back from Mammia Mia and omg I LOVED it! I had so much fun. It's a cheesy movie but it's great if you like Abba or musicals in general!
-
My last movie was Martyr

Proteus

youtube details:
An historical drama based on the true story of a homosexual love affair in South Africa during the 18th Century, PROTEUS unfolds within the confines of a Cape Town penal colony. Rijkhaart Jacobsz (Neil Sandilands) is a Dutch sailor who has been locked up for violating the strict laws against homosexuality, which at the time treated it as a crime worse than murder. Khoi herder Claas Blank (Rouxnet Brown) is a member of the lowest caste; cleared of his charges, he is nonetheless being forced to serve a 10-year sentence just for being arrested. Despite the strong taboos regarding interracial relationships, the two had an affair that spanned 10 years, but it was eventually discovered, and they were placed on trial. The film--a collaboration between Canadian John Greyson and South African Jack Lewis--is based to a large extent on the court transcripts of these proceedings, with the resulting picture providing a moving exploration of a number of themes that have shaped gay history.
The ending was sad :( Really low budget but it is beautifully shot and the acting is impressive.

Babylon A.D. ..... I didn't get it either...
-
Milion Dollar Baby
Wasabi
-
2 minutes of the movies "Body Of Lies" ;D

I saw Aquarian Age yesterday....and I still don´t get it:D i absolutely don´t understand it xD
-
There is an Aquarian Age anime series too. I recommend watching that too. Might be easier to understand. But this is only a suggesting, since I still haven't watched the movie.
-
Juno, I like this kind of movie... and Ellen Page is really cool :D
-
Cloverfield O_o, feel seasick now and cannot stand the open ending :S ... Must.. know.. how ...what .... why ><
-
Mad Max 1
-
@ Cloverfield -> I couldn't watch it. I withstood bravely first 5 - 10 minutes, then stopped it and was trying to hold food in my stomach and brain in my head for another few hours. Thank you very much for that camera, I thought I'd die of the fucking movements.....! ><' I'm getting sick of such things but this really didn't do any good to me. I'm so glad I didn't go to cinema... I wouldn't last any longer there... and then I'd just spit up my guts... x_X'
-
Are you guys serious? I saw Cloverfield at the movies and neither my friend or me felt sick. :P During transformers however, there was one moment that made me dizzy.
-
Well it´s not just the movement of the camera that makes sick XD It is too much asif you are actually there, running along the mass in the chaos too much tension/excitement.
-
I guess none of you gets sick while sitting on the back seats of a car or a bus... (sick enough to feel the food going up your throat) :P And no, it's only the camera movements that make me sick, nothing else. :) I was definitelly NOT excited of it, hehe..
-
Mad Max 2 !!
Now happy guessing which one I will watch next :P
-
2nd was the best one. ;)
-
Casino Royale
again... :3
<3
I want to see Quantum of Solace!!
(but I think the new Bond Girl is quite ugly... >.>)

LOL, there was a rumour here in Belgium, a Belgian tv chick will be in the new Bond movie... as a bondgirl XDDD
(I don't know if it's true or not, but it was in the magazines and stuff... :p)
//offtopic, sorry XD
-
You think they've already decided for NEXT Bond girl? O_o I wouldn't believe that, hmm... But this Ukrainian one is so.. so.. UGLY....!!! *vomits*
-
^ oh okay.
The last one I saw was War of the Worlds. Didn't like it. I don't like "DOOM" movies :p
AND IT HAD A HAPPY END. I MEAN WTF.
I hate happy ends.
-
Haha, yeah, happy end was stupid but I still liked the way the "tripods" ended... xDDDD
-
Halloween H-20, must be my favorite of Halloween with the first one :D
-
Tokyo Pop :D

-
Eden Lake

It's a thriller/horror and omg the ending...my face looked like this for about half an hour afterwards: D:
-
"Tenaciuos D - the pick of destiny"
Kind a lame movie, my brother liked it a lot but i am not~
-
Star Wars - Episode VI: Return of the Jedi
HELL YEAH! I watched IV - VI yesterday. Makes me happy ^^.
-
Twilight.
Tbh, it sucked. :p It was really slow. The first half of the movie, I thought: "fuck, I'm watching a standard teen romance story. The kind I hate". And: "CAN'T THAT GIRL CLOSE HER MOUTH FOR LIKE 3 SECONDS??" (seriously, she always looks like she's on dope and NEVER closes her mouth.)
And when she didn't turn into a vampire in the end, I was really dissapointed.
THIS WAS SUCH A SISSY MOVIE!! No blood! No gore! Stupid teen love!!!
The only reason why I smiled a few times during the film was this:
Alice Cullen... rrrrrrrrrrrrr * drools *
...okay I'll stop now. ;D
-
^ Reminds me TATY... :D but yes, she looks good. ^^
-
@ Miho: Twilight is chicklit with vampire elements, not the other way around XD. I read the first half of the book or something but URGH the characters annoyed me so much. Especially Bella, Mary Sue much?
My last movie was Happy-Go-Lucky. I was really excited because I love Mike Leigh and 'happy people' but I really, REALLY hated Poppy XD. She's so annoying I wanted to strangle her. I still thought the film was good though.
-

eXactly!! I had the idea the book was just an unfulfilled fantasy of the writer or something... Well, that was 6 euro thrown away... D:
Mine:
Death Note the movie XDDD It had been a while since I saw it. I was a huge Deathnote-tard a year ago. :P
-
Repo!Genetic Opera.....finally saw it....omg,it is really terrible movie,but i'm not surprise,after all it is from SAW creator,so...:D
but it feels really good to see Yoshiki's name in subtitles at the end of the film :D
i was like: "hey, look!there is Yoshiki's name!Really!" and my friend most probably thought I'm crazy and told me: "Ok,I know...I know there is Yoshiki's name, but could you please stand up and go from here?"
-
Valkyrie --- It could have been better... but I had no regrets watching it.
I love the ending even the part where the lead actor had to die.
It was moving.
-
Watchmen - Great movie, which I'm gonna buy on DVD for sure. Haven't read the comics, so I can't compare the movie to it, but the movie is really cool (although it seems that not everybody feels the same way as I do ;-))

That's because some people expect a brainless actioner. ;)
Btw I LOVED Watchmen! Can't wait to see the directors cut on Blu-Ray. ^^

Exactly my thoughts --- I regret even watching half of it, waste of time.
My sister bought the DVD that time and we "tried" watching it.
Later on she decided to give me that DVD and the rest remained un-watched till now.
yup --- it was that bad.
-
Last movie I saw was.........WATCHMEN. It was complete rubbish! I walked out halfway through. Before that though, I saw Gran Torino. Excellent movie.
-

haven't watched this but my brother told me it was as bad as The Spirit... only good graphics, animation and effects. i'm wondering why, because 300 was so good!
-
Transformers.
OMG This movie was KILLER!!!!
My favorite part : "Bumblebee, stop lubricating the man!"
That... scene... oh my word...
But the whole movie kicked ass big time!
-
Aftermath. (Just a short movie, but ... brrr ...)
Before that ... Bad Moon. I have seen so many films lately (I'd usually never watch mostly). xD;
-
Aliens, again.
Where's Ferret hanging out these days? *needs 80's sci-fi buddy* :D
-
Fast & the Furious 4
*just gotta love muscle cars* ^____^ *drools over 1970 Dodge Charger*
-
Bird on a Wire - right now ;D
-
Marley & Me.
Was a good movie but it made me cry at the end. It was hilarious up until the end though. I need to read the book now.
-
Transformers 2
I LOVE IT ^ ^
the downside is that two of the ladies in it makes me feel ugly...
-
I just came back from Mammia Mia and omg I LOVED it! I had so much fun. It's a cheesy movie but it's great if you like Abba or musicals in general!

I love V for Vendetta 8D
-
Transformers 2.
Huge. Robot. Balls. XD
-
Transformers 2 ... @_@ Just because my boyfriend wanted to see it and I am a patient girlfriend xD
Wasn't THAT bad anyway ... Just way too long imo.
And the girls were totally ugly in my eyes XD (The recent beauty ideal in movies of skinny tanned girls with those huge lips just doesn't seem pretty for me |D)
-
Der Untergang
Planet of the Apes
Der Untergang was great, it was about time I saw it. Planet of the Apes is with my beloved Helena Bonham Carter, so I kind of had to see it. It was pretty good.

I got to see Densha Otoko in my Japanese class the other day, the first half was pretty entertaining, but the rest was sooo over dramatic and sappy. The last 30 minutes of the movie consists of the protagonist running through the rain in Tokyo, trying to find the girl, and make things right. (The ridiculous amount of rain kinda reminded me of the Endless Rain PV, but without X and horrible :p)Even my Sensei was making some comments on how lame it was, and how she can't stand watching Japanese romantic comedies. So over all, it was fun because we got to see a movie, but I wouldn't really recommend it to anyone.
-
Oh mah ghad you guise, I just got done watching the Detroit Metal City live action movie, and goddamn is that one hell of a fun movie!!! ;D Definitely a fresh breath of awesome after the previous movie I saw.
check it.

Very touching... unexpected ending.
-
"High an-xietyyy~"
I finally watched High Anxiety with my mom and brother. What can I say? I love Mel Brooks. Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles and Spaceballs are favorites of mine, after all.
-
i saw that paranormal activity movie. man, i did NOT like it. it was a waste of money in my opinion. not scary at ALL...at least, that's what i thought till later that night, when i was so paranoid i had to sleep with my light on XD
-
Battle Royale. Just brilliant.but so violent. :P
-
Battle Royale. Just brilliant.but so violent. :P
Immense film.
-
The Prestige. I admit, I only wanted to watch it because of David Bowie. But, it was really awesome despite Bowie not having much screen time. (I'm so shallow, haha.)
-
Knowing, it was knida shocking, now I'm afraid of the "End of the world"(art of life) .........This is why I can't fuckin sleep at night sometimes...
-
The naked gun! i'm not really into American humour/spoofs that much but this and it's sequels are so funny! ;D

Wow, did not know that. Love Nielson and the naked gun movies.
-
Daens, a Belgian movie.
-
The Naked Gun 4? Hope it's good, I love The Naked Gun.
-
Good thing Leslie Nielson still looks the same for the past 40 years LOL
-
After a few years of knowing about it, I finally watched Burst City tonight, and holy hell is it an awesome flick. Its extremely chaotic and you'll find yourself lost at some points but in a good way, this movie really captures the spirit of punk, which so many other movies have tried but failed to do so. Its also a great look at the Japanese punk scene in the early 80s complete with actually bands staring in the film such as : The Stalin, The Roosters, Battle Rockers, and a whole lot more.
If you're into real punk or just wanna see a fun flick, and have not seen this movie yet, I would highly recommend that you do so immediately!!! You will not be disappointed! ;D

2012
I heard it was pretty interesting!
I'm watching the Dragonfly now, for the fourth time I think. It's one of my mom's favorite movies.
-
2012 : the movie story = standard, the visual effect = awesome. but i dont understand why themovie being banned soon in my country. so shit people in my country
-
Tokyo Gore Police.
I'll admit the only reason I bought and watched it was because of Tak Sakaguchi...in fact I didnt' get far beyon his part before I had to turn it off...REALLY pretencious.
Perhaps I'll finish it someday.
-
The Twilight Saga: New Moon. i went to the midnight showing...was awesomely amazing!
-
Watched Electric Dragon 80,000V tonight, its a short film by Sogo Ishii (same guy that did burst city) and now my brain is mush haha. Its got a man that conducts electricity, has the ability to talk to lizards, and wigs out on his guitar O_o. And he fights a half golden Buddha guy that also conducts electricity O_o Not an Oscar winner, but definitely fun :D

-
Toy Story 3 - excellent
Inception - excellent
Next up..The Expendables.
-
Copout
I am a huge Kevin Smith fan ;)
The Expendables would be the next one for me too
-
The Sorceror's Apprentice. it's very good.
-
Millenium 3 I believe.
-
Watched 'Let the Right One In' last night. I'd rate it a 4 out of 5. Not bad.
-
I saw The Expendables the other day...that movie...has so many explosions and unlimited amounts of ammo...like, I can only think what the director was thinking: "Well, if we're going to shoot him, we might as well stab him and set him on fire as well."
It was very entertaining though.
-
Just saw The Expendables. I loved it. Later I'm going to check out Eat, Pray, Love haha!
-
Scott Pilgram vs. the World suppose to be really good!
-

Exactly what I had hoped for :D It's out here in the UK on Friday, can't wait!
-
i went and saw Vampires Suck at the premiere last night. It's VERY funny...made funnier by the company i was in, but still...
-
I saw Inception today. It's really great and I think you should see it. Beginning is hard but later everything is clear ;d
-
Expendables - utterly enjoyable.
-
The invention of lying- I'm a big Ricky Gervais fan but this was just above average, it's not the same when Stephen Merchant isn't part of the creative process with him.The humour was quite Americanised. :(
-
The Changeling. Hands down my favorite ghost story!
-
The last movies I watched:
- Karate Kid: I love Jaden Smith, very funny, and the first time I see Jackie Chan in a "serious" character
- The Sorcerer's Apprentice: Don't know, I don't enjoy this kind of movies as I used to do...
- The Counterfeiters: I love this kind of movies
-
The Breakfast Club
-
Just watched "Machete" the other day, pretty entertaining. Its funny, rusty, violent, and shallow. Everything that makes an action movie work!
-
I haven't gone to the movies in quite a while, but that Machete movie really looks cool. I think I might come out of hiding to go see it lol!
-

yeah it was great! :D
yesterday I saw the tekken live action movie. it was pretty good. thought it would suck.
-
Today I saw Scott Pilgrim VS the world. Absolutely fantastic.
-
In theaters: RED. In the Japanese Multimedia Club that i belong to: Battle Royale...good movies.
-
This past weekend I saw Paranormal Activity 2, nothing really new from the first one, but it was still a great film!
-
Black Swan. Pretty good, Natalie is gorgeus, but it resembled a little of Fight Club..
-
Green Hornet - I like Jay Chou
-
it was Harry Potter and the deathly hallows, but our cinema was very helpful, may be someone forgot what the other parts were about, so they were showing those at first part 1 to 6, finally we were in the cinema for about 22 hours, it was pretty long and really cool
-
i saw The Green Hornet. It was quite funny, and actually quite good, as well.
