This'll ceartinly be interesting to hear, and it's cool Toshi's releasing a more rock-based solo album again. No reason music can't heal and rock. :wink:

Funk AND Rap? Oh golly!

Somebody should make a music seminar and teach that rap is no music subgenre and that there usually IS rap in funk. Unless he meant hip hop by rap, that would be even more hilarious.

Not to bring down your hopes but I wouldn't think Toshi would be rapping?
They'd have guests for that.. right?....

And dammit, I'd always wanted to make a trip to Korea, and to coincide it with a X Japan or related concert would be amazing.. but this is too soon Toshi :(

Of course I don't know yet how the album will sound like, but as Toshi said their style will include elements of funk and rap and be based on hard rock I don't think we have to expect an baggy-pants wearing Toshi; don't know which elements they will include into their style but perhaps there even won't be anybody rapping, let's wait and see.

But the only element in rap is rap  :P  Tbh this sounds like there's going to be some rapping combined with singing (Linkin Park style, just with better rapping hopefully) and the rapping will be done by some guest rapper, not Toshi.

Toshi, yes sir you still have the voice, why don't you always use this. The preview of the first T-EARTH song is very very promising. I'm not usually one to point out vocals first but Toshi sounds amazing

There's no reason why they can't pull out at LEAST one more new X Japan song, something more faster and energetic like their older stuff with these Toshi vocals.

I'll definitely be looking forward to that album. Thanks for the news.

I'm sure Toshi will take care of this  :wink:  there will surely be some buying options on his page and blog as it was with Earth in the Dark  :wink:  He will be counting days to the 8th August and then every day he will be sending you to the CDshop or to the webpage to purchase it quickly~~~~ :lol:

There are a few people who watch over Toshi's blog, so don't worry, you will know as soon as Toshi tells us  :wink:
