Soooooo we went to the We are X screening in Braunschweig on friday. And all I can say is that you shouldn't judge the movie by the version that leaked on the internet. What we saw was a different cut and this one is a bit better I guess. The movie is still almost only about Yoshiki and Toshi (and a little bit Hide and Taiji). Almost zero screentime for Pata, Heath and Sugizo. Still a very nice experience.

nb invited some friends, that don't know X very well to join us. And they said something strange at the end. So I want to know what you guys think about this. They said when they heard how Hide died, they first thought that he was trying to get high from lack of oxygen by knowingly strangling himself. I've never heard of this practice and have never thought about that before. What about you? Feels strange to think about something like this...

The thing is, that this could have been covered in just one(two) question(s) and that answer would actually have been relevant for all fans: Will there be another world tour? Which places will you tour?

But having him answer to every single country seperately? What a waste of time! It's only interesting if you are from this specific country and for everyone else it's just annoying.

And yes I'm not a big fan of this whole bunch of kawaii/nonsense questions as well. Answering one or two of them is okay, but that shouldn't be the majority of questions anwered. I would have appreciated if he answered more questions to the history of X Japan, recent activities, other band projects or the album release (if that is going to happen, we never know).

That's a good one! Someone else also asked if they can bring Alpaca to Wembley. Please tease him a little bit more with Alpaca. That was cute/funny when he was actually making a mistake and blamed it on Alpaca. ^^

That was a really interesting reading, heavy and depressing but enlightening of what happened to Toshi.

I'm genuinely happy that active legal actions have been taken against HoH and cie.
"They must be stopped. That is the purpose of this book." This is what I thought throughout the reading. I hope they'll actually get stopped.

I've read the book just recently and felt the same. Reading was very intense and I do hope the purpose of the book gets 100% fulfilled...

I like it. I listen to both L'Arc en Ciel and Vamps. I hope they keep doing these collaborations, because Hyde has an amazing voice. I don't know what happened at VJS though.. he usually sounds way better. Maybe he was nervous, or his voice wasn't in the best condition.

Yup he usually sounds better, but that's okay. I remember really old L'Arc performances that sounded worse. ^^°

Just recently Yoshiki and HYDE performed together at the Visual Japan Summit 2016. What do you guys think of this duo?

If you follow them on twitter/tumblr/instagram you can see that they've been posting pictures with each other lately. What do you think of future collaborations? Would you listen to it or not?


I personally have been a big L'Arc~en~Ciel fan for years, but I don't usually like Hydes solo projects. Some of them are okay, but I seriously dislike VAMPS... The songs Yoshiki and Hyde choose for Visual Japan Summit have been a good choice in my opinion. My Heart Draws A Dream is a beautiful typical L'Arc song and it was intresting to hear Hydes interpretation of Say Anything.

What about you?

I think the "most popular rumour" about Taiji being fired is because of drug issues of some kind. If you keep in mind that in Japan drugs were/are a much bigger 'issue' compared to the west, it would seem logical that - even while he still can't talk about it - yoshiki forgave him for what happened back then...and invited him to that concert.

This sounds like the most logical thing to me. But we can really only speculate... and in the end it was probably something completely different.

It was intresting to hear how Taiji reacted to being fired. He started a fight with Yoshiki and both cried in the end. I wonder what would have happened to X if he had stayed.

Toshi was very nice to his guest and I was surprised to see Toshi cooking. Didn't knew he was good at something like this.

The guitar song, which Toshi played at the end was nice too. They almost cried. :DD

I personally would prefer the usual mix of japanese and english lyrics.

And to be totally honest an album completely in japanese would always be better than one completely in english. It's their mother tongue and you can see/hear that Toshi is always more confident when singing japanese which is a natural thing. So if X releases a full album in english... well that's okay. I will still listen to it and such, but I would love to hear japanese lyrics too! It's a beautiful language. Or they could release an album with two CDs. One which contains of only english songs and one that contains only japanese songs. It would please "fans" of both languages.
